browser hijack again =(

Hi guys. The last time i got hijacked the HJT scan didn't show anything i think because i ran spyware scanners. so this time i did a HJT scan before any spyware sweeps. hope you can help thanks

I'm still not seeing nothing bad
Let's try something

Download remv3.zip
[attachment=86:attachment]
UNZIP the contents to desktop
Open the Remv3 folder and double click on remv3.bat

It will produce a log, can you post that back please

Download DLLCompare

Start the Program and click the Run Locate.com
Default settings should work---C:\Windows\System32 directory
Let it complete the SCAN, which won't take long

Click the Compare button to start the next process.This will take a bit longer.
The results appear in two panes - files in the upper pane have been verified to 'exist'.
Files in the lower pane were 'not able to be accessed'.
Very few files should be listed in the lower pane,if any, when the Compare scan is complete.
Click on each of the listed entries in the lower pane to select them. Right-click on the file and use the option Rescan. This will cause Windows Find to see if the file does exist, and then if so it will be removed from the list to reduce the number of identified files.

Click the Make a Log of what was found button and post it back here

There were no files in the bottom pane at all. This is one weirdass hijack... doesn't show up on ANYTHING and yet is persistent as hell....

This is strange, can you let me know if you can find this folder on your computer

C:\Program Files\PPC Advertor\ppc.dll  <the ppc advertor folder

or the ppc.dll

If using a browser other than IE you will have to Right click on the link and save link as

Double click on SilentRunners
It will produce a log>>>Wait for the All Done prompt
Allow to run if prompted by your AV, we're just collecting information
