pop ups are back with a vengence

somehow i have gotten a really bad program that will not delete, I ran hyjack this and here is the log file.  The program is elite...  (etbrun)

Download and UNZIP to desktop
Elite.zip
So you will now have Elite.reg and LQfix.bat on the desktop
[attachment=106:attachment]

Can you also download the latest version of Hijackthis from my Signature below
You can save it too your C:\hjt folder
Allow to overwrite the old version if prompted

Please Print this out or save these instructions to a Notepad file and save it to your Desktop
RESTART your Computer in SAFE MODE

Find and delete this file if found
C:\windows\system32\elitejjy32.exe <-file

Stay in safe mode

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [etbrun] C:\windows\system32\elitejjy32.exe

O16 - DPF: {D8089245-3211-40F6-819B-9E5E92CD61A2} (FlashXControl Object) - https://register3.valueactive.com/225/webolr/OCX/FlashAX.cab

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Double click on Elite.reg and allow to merge to the registry
Double click on LQfix.bat>>A dos window will open and close quickly

Restart back to Normal mode and post a fresh Hijackthis log

You seem to have installed ClockSync
Supplied by WhenU, which means spyware

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [wdskctl] C:\WINDOWS\wdskctl.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [ClockSync] C:\PROGRA~1\CLOCKS~1\Sync.exe /q

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Access your Add/Remove programs and remove
ClockSync
if found

Restart your computer after doing any of the above

Find and delete this file if found
C:\WINDOWS\wdskctl.exe <-file

and this folder
C:\Program Files\ClockSync <-folder

Post back a fresh Hijackthis log

Could you also open Spybot
Click on HELP>>About
Let me know Spybot version and Latest detection update date

Ok this will stop etbrun from executing, but the files still will be on your HD.

EDITING YOUR REGISTRY CAN CAUSE YOUR COMPUTER TO STOP FUNCTIONING CONTINUE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
goto Start/Run...
type 'regedit' (No quotation marks)
Press CRTL+F
type 'etbrun'
search until you find etbrun in
My Computer\HKEY_LOCAT_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run-
look for string value 'etbrun'
delete 'etbrun' (nothing else 'unless you want to disable other programs[NOT RECOMENDED])
exit regedit
restart your computer

that should take care of it
