can't beat the spyware

Can't seem to beat the popups and spyware from reaccuring.  Run ad-aware constantly and they keep coming back.  Please help.  Thanks.

Can I have you run a couple  tools please

First, download and save too desktop
PeperFix
Don't run it yet

Download and save too Desktop
FixAprop.exe
by Symantec's

Download and save too Desktop
FixBinet.exe
by Symantec's

Access your Add/Remove programs and remove if found
WebSearch Toolbar
WebSearch Tools
Search Assistant
Win-Tools Easy Installer

# Do not reboot until they have all been removed even if prompted.

# When you are uninstalling the last program you can then reboot when prompted

Back in Windows, go back to Add/Remove Programs and remove if found
POP!
AproposClient

Again restart the computer if removed

Back in Windows
Open Hijackthis>>Open Misc Tools section>>Open Process Manager
Kill this process if you can and still running
C:\Program Files\CxtPls\CxtPls.exe

Run the FixApropos.exe
After running the fix, if anything removed, please save a log if given the choice
Restart your computer

Run the FixBinet.exe
Again, if anything removed, please save a log if given the choice

But this time
Restart the computer into SAFE MODE
You can do this by tapping the F8 key as the system is restarting

Run PeperFix.exe in safe mode
Click the Find and Fix>>Let it complete the scan and follow the prompts

Restart back to Normal mode and post a fresh Hijackthis log and the logs from FixApropos.exe and FixBinet.exe

Thanks for replying so quickly!  None of the programs where there in the "remove program" utility that you asked me to remove.  I did run the three downloaded  programs as you instructed and I'm still getting the pop ups.  The peperfix program found nothing.  I noticed that in hijack this scan that the "websearch" lines are still there.  I tried to fix them and when I went back online they reappeared.  In any case here is my latest report.  Thanks again.

Hmmm, I'm surprised that FxAprop and FxBinet didn't fix a few lines in your log

Did you save the logs after running them if give the option
I've asked others to run these fixes and they post back with a log after they are done

Open Windows CleanUp!>>START>>All programs>>Cleanup!
Click on the CleanUp button, let it finish scanning for files, when it's done
Restart back to Normal mode

I suggest that you Uninstall Spyware Stormer if you didn't pay for it
It's on the Rogue list {Bogus}

Afterwards
Download and Install Spybot S&D 1.3
After installation--SEARCH FOR UPDATES
Check and Download all updates
Then:
Check for Problems>>Let it finish the scan---FIX everything in RED
Should be checked by default

Restart the computer to finish the cleaning process

Post back a fresh Hijackthis log

I found most (but not all) or the files and Hijackthis entries to delete and fix.  Here is my latest log.  Just got on but no popups yet.  When I went to delete spyware stormer I found it already in the recycle bin so I'm not sure what happened there.  Thanks for your help....again.

so you now have IEFix.reg on the desktop

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = about:blank

If everything is running better

You should disable system restore---restart your computer--enable system restore
This will clear all your restore points and ensure you don't restore any nasties
Once reenabled it will create a fresh restore point
How to Disable and Re-enable System Restore feature

Once back in Windows and System Restore is reenabled

You should set up protection against future attacks

SpywareBlaster by JavaCool---will block bad ActiveX and malevolent cookies
Install---Check for Updates---Enable all protection
