Norton Antivirus disabled
« on: April 04, 2005, 11:15:13 AM »
I have a problem with my pc.  It will not launch Norton Antivirus even after removal and reload.  I have been fighting the HuntToolbar and the Collected 5.L Trojan Horse.  One of the 2 ha appeared to have disabled my antivirus software as well as my msconfig, sysedit, taskmanager, regedit, and regedt32 as well as other  .exe files.  I know I still have remnants of the virus because everytime I get the system clean when I plug back into the highspeed internet the toolbar attempts to reload.  Any suggection as to how I can get my av software to work again?
Thanks
Ed
