==Download and Install this small program
to help clean your temp folders,cookies, recylebin
Windows Cleanup
Install for now, don't run a scan yet

==Download and Install the free version of Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.05
Ensure you have this version or the paid version
Open Ad-Aware, ensure to click the  check for updates now link and Connect to download the latest updates
When installing it may update, allow it, but double check anyways
Don't run a scan yet

==Set Windows To Show Hidden Files and Folders
    * Click Start.
    * Open My Computer.
    * Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
    * Select the View Tab.
    * Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
    * Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
    * Uncheck the Hide Extensions for known file types
    * Click Yes to confirm.
    * Click OK.

Please save these instructions to a Notepad file and save it to your Desktop
Also, know how to start in safe mode in advance, I supplied a link below if your unsure

Disconnect from the Internet, close all browser windows including this one

Open Hijackthis>>Open Misc Tools Section>>Open Process Manager
Kill these processes
C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking\P2P Networking.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\Services\{0800D3FB-FEBD-4AF8-91BD-742A42D118C4}\SVCHOST.EXE

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://daosearch.com/

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {549B5CA7-4A86-11D7-A4DF-000874180BB3} - (no file)

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [P2P Networking] C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking\P2P Networking.exe /AUTOSTART
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Service Host] C:\WINDOWS\System32\Services\{0800D3FB-FEBD-4AF8-91BD-742A42D118C4}\SVCHOST.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Disk Keeper] C:\WINDOWS\System32\Services\{0800D3FB-FEBD-4AF8-91BD-742A42D118C4}\SECURITY.EXE

O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler V3.exe

O16 - DPF: {1D6711C8-7154-40BB-8380-3DEA45B69CBF} (Web P2P Installer) -

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Access your Add/Remove programs and remove
P2P Networking.exe
Usually an addon by Kazaa that is useless, can cause slower browsing experiences
And slower computing experience in general
if prompted to remove Altnets Do So

Don't restart yet
Instead
Open Hijackthis>>Open Misc Tools Section>>Click the "Delete on Reboot" button
In the File Name field, copy and paste the Whole full path of file to delete in bold

C:\WINDOWS\System32\Services\{0800D3FB-FEBD-4AF8-91BD-742A42D118C4}\SECURITY.EXE

Then click the OPEN button, Hijackthis should prompt you that the file will be deleted and you must restart your computer
Don't restart yet, instead do the same for this file name

C:\WINDOWS\System32\Services\{0800D3FB-FEBD-4AF8-91BD-742A42D118C4}\SVCHOST.EXE

This time
RESTART your Computer in SAFE MODE
You can do this by tapping the F8 key as the system is restarting, after the single post beep, or use the link
I supplied for a more detailed explanation

Find and delete these folders if found
C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking <-folder

==Open Windows CleanUp!>>START>>programs>>Cleanup!
Click on the CleanUp button, let it finish scanning for files, when it's done
Don't Log off yet

Instead
Open Ad-Aware
Perform a Full system scan
When it's finished scanning
At this point you should either right click on the screen and and choose the "Select All" Objects option or individually put a checkmark in each objects checkbox
click on the Next button. Ad-Aware SE will now present you with a confirmation box as to whether or not you would like to remove the objects you have just selected. Press the "OK" button

RESTART your computer back to Normal mode

Post back a fresh Hijackthis log

Could you also let me know what other files or folders you see in this folder
C:\WINDOWS\System32\Services <-this folder

NOTE: If at any time Intermute's Spyware software prompts you of any changes
Allow them or we will have to disable it so it won't interfere with any fixes

well, so far so good, everything seems to be back in working order, and the daosearch is gone.

Go ahead and delete the folder in the Services folder
C:\WINDOWS\System32\Services/{DB64057A-E137-4E9D-9903-2ADDF0D6183C} <-this folder

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AlcxMonitor] ALCXMNTR.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Reminder] "C:\Windows\Creator\Remind_XP.exe"

EDIT>>The above entry is optional
Quote
Remind_XP.exe=Subscription reminder to unlock unkimited use for SoftThinks CD Creator CD/DVD rewriting software usually supplied with HP PC's as a pre-installed package

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Disk Keeper] C:\WINDOWS\System32\Services\{0800D3FB-FEBD-4AF8-91BD-742A42D118C4}\SECURITY.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Service Host] C:\WINDOWS\System32\Services\{0800D3FB-FEBD-4AF8-91BD-742A42D118C4}\SVCHOST.EXE

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Restart the computer and post back a fresh Hijackthis log

Rockie, It's been a long time  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />
I'm sorry I can't look over your log at the moment, but I will when I get off work tomorrow
Be patient, We'll get some tools on your computer to help clear this infection

In the meantime could you do the following for me
Access your Add/Remove programs and remove if found
E2Give Browser Add On
WinTools
Web Rebates

Restart the computer if anything removed

Afterwards
Ensure that you check for updates with Ad-Aware

Restart your computer into Safe mode and run a full system scan

Restart back to Normal mode and post a fresh Hijackthis log

This is just to start to get you clean
I'll post a fix for the other infections you have tomorrow

You have a few problems and we need a few tools

==Download and then Install
Ewido Trojan Scanner
When installing, under "Additional Options" UNCHECK "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".
When you run ewido for the first time, you will get a warning "Database could not be found!". Click OK. We'll fix that in the next step
From the main ewido screen, click on update in the left menu, then click the Start update button.
After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
Close out Ewido

==Download FindQoologic-Narrator.zip
save it to your Desktop.
UNZIP the files inside into their own folder called FindQoologic.
We'll need this later

==Download and Install this small program
to help clean your temp folders,cookies, etc...
Windows Cleanup
Give the link time to load or try it twice, it may be busy
Install for now, don't run a scan yet

==Download and UNZIP to desktop NailRemove.zip so you now have
NailRemove.bat on your desktop, we'll need this later

==Download Find_It's.zip
UNZIP the contents, we'll need this later

==Download the Pocket Killbox
UNZIP it to a folder of your choice

Set Windows To Show Hidden Files and Folders
    * Click Start.
    * Open My Computer.
    * Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
    * Select the View Tab.
    * Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
    * Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
    * Uncheck the Hide Extensions for known file types
    * Click Yes to confirm.
    * Click OK.

Please Print this out or save these instructions to a Notepad file and save it to your Desktop
Disconnect from the Internet, close out all browser windows, including this one

Go to START>>>RUN>>>type in services.msc
Hit OK
In the next window, look on the right hand side for this service
name---- System Startup Service
Double click on it--- STOP the service--If running
In the drop down menu, change the startup type to Disabled

Open Hijackthis>>Open Misc tools Section>>Open Process Manager
Kill these processes if running
C:\WINDOWS\System32\RUNDLL32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\rvkkln.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\RunDLL32.EXE
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\msw\BMan1.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\atmorsvc.exe
c:\windows\system32\hiwbwqp.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\zlimlnka.exe
C:\DOCUME~1\ALLUSE~1\APPLIC~1\msw\BMan.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\kbdit.exe

===================================================

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O2 - BHO: CExtension Object - {0019C3E2-DD48-4A6D-ABCD-8D32436323D9} - C:\WINDOWS\cfgmgr51.dll
O2 - BHO: BolgerObj Class - {302A3240-4805-4a34-97D7-1645A0B08410} - C:\WINDOWS\Bolger.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [winupdtl] C:\WINDOWS\System32\winupdt.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AUNPS2] RUNDLL32 AUNPS2.DLL,_Run@16
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KavSvc] C:\WINDOWS\System32\rvkkln.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [cfgmgr51] RunDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\cfgmgr51.dll,DllRun
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BMan] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\msw\BMan1.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [VBouncer] C:\PROGRA~1\VBouncer\VirtualBouncer.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [psoj39W] atmorsvc.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [wvpdzqk] c:\windows\system32\hiwbwqp.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [YB7tRVa4V] zlimlnka.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [kbdit] C:\WINDOWS\System32\kbdit.exe
O23 - Service: System Startup Service (SvcProc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows,
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

==Run Pocket KillBox>>Now killbox and this notepad file is open

In the Full Path of File to Delete box, copy and paste the entire line directly below in bold, do not type this in

C:\WINDOWS\System32\winupdt.exe

Select the radio button to
 Delete on Reboot
Click The Red circle and a white X
When prompted to Delete on Reboot, click YES
If prompted to Reboot Now, Click NO
Additionally, for any .dll file, use the "Unregister .dll before deleting" option if available

Continue to copy and paste the next paths to the files below into killbox
Selecting Delete on Reboot after each

C:\WINDOWS\System32\rvkkln.exe
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\msw\BMan1.exe
C:\PROGRA~1\VBouncer\VirtualBouncer.exe
c:\windows\system32\hiwbwqp.exe
C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\atmorsvc.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\zlimlnka.exe
C:\DOCUME~1\ALLUSE~1\APPLIC~1\msw\BMan.exe

C:\WINDOWS\cfgmgr51.dll
C:\WINDOWS\Bolger.dll

When you've entered the last path to the file
Allow the computer to Reboot
But try and restart into Safe mode
You can do this by tapping the F8 key as the system is restarting

In safe mode

Double click on Nailremove.bat
A dos windows will open and close quickly, this is normal

Find and delete this file and folders if found
AUNPS2.DLL <-do a Search for this file
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\msw <-this folder
C:\Program Files\VBouncer <-folder
C:\Program Files\Common Files\WinTools <-folder
C:\Program Files\Web_Rebates <-folder
C:\Program Files\E2G <-folder

==Open Windows CleanUp!>>START>>programs>>Cleanup!
Click on the CleanUp button, let it finish scanning for files, when it's done
Decline to Log off

==Open Ewido trojan scanner
Click on the Scanner button in the left menu, then click on the Start button. This scan can take a while, so give it time to run
If ewido finds anything, it will pop up a notification. You can select "clean" and check the boxes "Perform action with all infections" and "Create encrypted backup" before clicking on OK.
When the scan finishes, click on "Save Report". This will create a text file.
Save the report

RESTART back to Normal mode
I need to see a few logs from you

Post back a fresh Hijackthis log and the Report from Ewidos

Open the FindQoologic folder.
Locate and double-click the Find-Qoologic.bat file to run it.
wait until a text opens, post back the log to your post
Give this time to run

Open the FindIt's folder and double click on the FindIt's.bat
Wait for the log and post it back here

Try to do what you can from the above, all if you can, post back with all the required logs
If you can't do something, skip it for now and proceed to the next step

Do you want to post your own logs from FRST?

Follow the instructions posted http://www.thetechguide.com/forum/index.php/topic/22942-please-read-how-to-post-logs-from-frst/\'>Click Here
