I have a 19 inch optiquest monitor that would power on yellow light but not turn to green.... I thought it was dead... but a few days later the monitor was fine for about an hour then went black...  Should I replace it or attempt to fix it... and if the answer is to fix ... what should I do

Trying to repair this could cause more problems?
Get a quote from a Computer Repairer...

The good news is that monitor prices are comming down all
the time, so investing in a new one.
Will give you the peace of mind...

Get a quote first? If its not cost effective buy a new...

Just zeros & ones ???

!!!!!!!! MAKE SURE IT\'S NOT A POWER MANAGMENT THING !!!!!!!!

IF YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT GRAPHICS CARD TRY THAT
YOU\'LL BE SUPPRISED

AS WHEN YOU PLUG YOU\'R MONITOR IN THE G/CARD SENDS A SIGNAL TO TURN ON THE MONITOR (FROM STANDBY [ORANGE LIGHT])

WHEN YOU FIRST TURN ON YOUR MONITOR DOES THE LIGHT GO GREEN FOR A SECOND THEN GO ORANGE? (THIS IS A GOOD SIGN)
