Dont sign up
« on: April 29, 2005, 07:38:26 PM »
How many of us are really tired of coming to this forum and seeing the same person has created 25 threads to advertise thier own links? I for one am really sick of it. Dont sign up for any of these people, and if you have clicked on thier links, disconnect from the internet, if you have dial up, before you sign up for anyone else. If you have DSL or Cable, PM me for a Email Removed dial up account you can use to sign up to keep these people from getting your ref.

Read the information on the site. Once you click someones referral link to one of these sites, Netbux or Pay-Pup, thier system registers your IP to that referral ID number, so if you ever go back to sign up, the first person whos link you used will get credit for the ref. Even if you sign up under someone else. To avoid this, you need to change your IP. Dial-up uses dynamic IP which means it might be different everytime you log in. Cable & DSL use static IP which is registered to your user account. I'm offering my Email Removed account to use for the different IP just for signing up. If more people actually read what they were signing up for, I wouldn't have to explain it to you. I tried to use monosyllabic words.
Pay-pup is down for upgrades right now or I would copy/paste the statement from thier site.

Allllrighty then. Here is the quote, taken directly from pay-pup's about page. If it still doesn't make sense, learn to read:

An amazing feature with the referral program is that if someone comes here by way of your referral url, their ip address is recorded and attached to your account so if they close the browser, disconnect (only static ip's), turn off their computer (only static ip's), you will still get credit if they ever return! You only get paid for one level of referrals but you may already see an enormous earning opportunity here.

I think it would probably be a better idea if you minded your own business and let others do what they want on here...it's an open forum, so don't try to ruin what everyone else is trying to do.  If you don't like how it's run, go somewhere else.

Says the stupid jerk who couldn't mind his own business and put his two cents in where it wasn't requested. Oh the irony.
