Im really baffled????????
« on: May 14, 2005, 07:33:40 AM »
I have continually removed all kinds of crap from my pc and I still keep getting this "you are running low on disk space.... I have deleted so many programs and it still wont fix it... It seems the more I remove the less disk space I am getting.....
I mean at one point there was 126mb of free space it says it needs 200... Then 5 minutes later it says I have 2mb of free space.... I cant figure this  out to save my life.... Am I really overlooking something ??? I rebooted and unplugged and everything...

Can you do the following please

Can you go to this link
Give this site time to load
Jotti's Online Malware scan

Use the browse button and navigate to these  files in on your hard drive
C:\Program Files\KS\KS.exe <-this file
Right click on each  file individually  and choose Select
Then use the Submit button
Let it finish scanning
Could you post back the results of the scan back here please, just the scanner results for each file

If it reports nothing found can you navigate to KS.exe and right click on the file and left click properties and select version tab if one
Let me know what it's related too

Are you planning on removing it?
If you do can you restart your computer and run a disk cleanup on your computer

START>>RUN>>type in cleanmgr
Hit OK
Wait for it to finish and ensure temp or temp internet files are checked

Repost a fresh hijackthis log if you remove it

Additionally, this service name looks orphaned
O23 - Service: Cryptainer service (ssoftservice) - Unknown owner - ssoftsrv.exe (file missing)

Do you still have Cypherix's Cryptainer software on your computer

It looks like it is effected or not running properly if installed
You may want to go to
START>>>RUN>>>type in services.msc
Hit OK
In the next window, look on the right hand side for this service
name---- Cryptainer service

Double click on it--- STOP the service--If running
In the drop down menu, change the startup type to Disabled

Before posting a fresh hijackthis log
