Which harddrive should I use with this motherboard
« on: June 07, 2005, 07:09:05 PM »
I have an ASUS A7V8X-X Motherboard(Link) and I'm looking to get a new harddrive.  Looks like to me I can only have a ATA/133 or ATA/100 harddrive.

So I was looking around and I think these are the two best ones for the money/size/speed.  What do ya'll think?  Which one is better?  Or maybe there is even a different one I haven't seen yet that ya'll suggest.

First harddrive
Second harddrive

Also, is there a big difference or no difference at all between ATA/100 and ATA/133 harddrives?

This will be a gaming computer primarly, so keep that in mind.  Thanks for the help. http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
