Publicity for your link

how do people get their freeipods and such like referral links promoted!?
Ive been trying for a couple of weeks, and have had no succes with traffic exchanges, or posting on this forum!

How did YOU (those that have sucessfully completed / nearly completd) get your referrals?

it kinda seems weird  to me that you should pay for referrals - they get onto the freeipod ladder, and help you out!

Make yourself a nice little webpage with your referral link and some info about the program and link to your homepage instead of your referral link.

It's kind of a loophole in the system. Most forums I have posted at allow me to do that.
