1. Somebody gonna make that \"how to\" to use cdimage to make a multiple bootable OS installation cd ;P..god i hope so.

2. if someone would post that data kindly hopefully soon...i was wondering..i have all winOS\'s but one that either bypass or enter the cdkey for you..but winxp...in win2k as mentioned you just have to change whatever to 270 in the PID....in winxp...is there a way to do this.?

p.s. i went ahead and tried to make a multi bootable already...uh..no luck...i just made a dir d:cd and put the three os\'s in each dir (me,2k,98)...i used i what i thought was the correct options in cdimage..but no luck.

When you create the iso using cdimage, you can use an iso handling tool such as cdmage to check if it is bootable and examine the folder/file structure
cdimage /? should give you enough info to do what you want.

yeh i think your right...sort of lost on it..but ok...anyways...i got to ask this....what does one of these cds look like when you boot from startup....is there a menu or does one have to run the setup.exe.....i guess i should use the win2k boot image though..that is what i used before and will keep using i guess....thanks for replying...i just am very interested in this because i install both 98/me and 2k almost on a tri-day basis....thanks again...

The easiest way to get all Windows versions (except NT4) to work, on the one CD, is to create a custom DOS bootdisk to use as the image.  The only problem, is that Win2k/WinXP\'s setup cannot be started, in dos mode, if you are installing to a drive already formatted in NTFS (because dos only knows FAT16 and FAT32).  Since you will rarely encounter that (if it already has NTFS, you can probably boot into windows and start an install from there, or you are probably willing to delete the partition, etc.), it\'s not that bad of a solution.

But, we would all like to do it a better way, cause good enough just isn\'t good enough!  lol

Yeh im trying know..im getting friends to do it for me right now..but how do i customize it....i cant seem to get the proper image??? my 2kpro 2kadvser win98se winme cd wont work....im not sure how to get this to work...btw....i like this place...its been a great 48 hours so far ;P....i can say in honestly...i cant get you any money ....i would love to really...i have even done it before in the past...but it been a rough 24 years so far and i have found myself, honestly filing for bankruptcy...man how i would love to ..but i cant...but i do love your tech source here....maybe i will be able too in the future...but as you know..maybe\'s might aswell go unsaid ;P...thanx for the help you have given us just for have a resource to even glance at....any info is better than none...and your is better than most by a long shot....long long shot....
