New points and referral based site
« on: June 24, 2005, 12:35:16 AM »
CHPLaptops just went live today. You earn a laptop by reading sponsored messages posted on thier website, referring others, and making a purchase from thier online store. They'll have offers you can complete for points soon too.
The site was started by some guys who were scammed by EzLaptop, and wanted to start a site like it, but legitimate. You pay $10 to join, then earn credits towards your choice of 2 different laptop models. I think they plan to include a couple gifts that require fewer points in the future.
Get in early and start getting credits now. Here is the link to check it out: http://www.chplaptops.com/

They've been one or two messages a day, worth one and two points each.

Its cheaper than the offers on most incentive web sites, and you dont have to buy or trade for referrals.

Have you read their story on that site.  Those are probably are 3, 14 year old dudes, who saw that ez laptop scamed people and got some bucks, and decided to do the same.  In their faq it says how many credits do you earn per day, well its one.  Good luck to you, paid 10 and for 200 something credits, you will get it in a year or two when they will close.  In 200 days you will get your laptop.

I have spoken to these guys online, and was part of the discussions that occured on the finaleforums before the admins took the threads down. I am also a member of the Yahoo group that was created for the planning of this site.
They just switched to a dedicated server.
Theres no fighting with incentive sites over receiving credit for completed offers (which is something that has become all too common). SuperPSPs4Free never gave me credit for the offer I completed as my part of a trade before they took the money and ran.
I am still fighting with BMG Music and Coobro to receive credit on Tech4Free.
Freerazr.com is still scamming me for an offer I completed in May.
I fought with OC to receive credit on an offer I did for months before finally receiving credit for it, and my trading partner turned out to be a scammer (andy_g1213 on the A4F forums).
Sorry, but the way things are going now, I'll probobly have my laptop from these people before I receive anything from those other sites. And by the way, there are other ways to receive extra credits if you're just too impatient.

CHPLaptops doesn't have a testimonials page because they opened less than 2 weeks ago. Thats hardly enough time for someone who does not have all the facts to make a false judgement against them. I also notice that giftsfor5dollars only has 2 testimonials. If they were so great, I would think they would have more. CHPLaptops does have a user forum though for members to post thier testimonials.
DO NOT join girftsfor5dollars. They dont even tell you how many people you have to refer until it's too late and you're already out the $5.00. If they're giving out $300 items, they would have to require 60 refs just to break even, and that doesn't include hosting fees & shipping. I dont know about you, but I'd have a really hard time finding that number of people to waste $5 on a pyramid scheme that cant possible go more than 5 levels. Oh. by the way, they claim its not a pyramid or matrix scheme but it is. Read the description of what matrix and pyramid schemes are, and ALL referral based incentive sites fit that.

Why dont any of your posts mention how many people you need to refer?
Why doesn't the site mention how many you need before you spend your money? It's not in thier TOS. Why is this a secret?
I dont recall starting this thread for some jerk to trash the site and spam his own referral link.

its 25 referals dude, not 60 as u might think, or its not a pyramid scheme.   by the way I have a advise for you, conserve your nerves while u still young.  Here is the question for you as well: Ok, if you like so much that laptop site, tell me this: Why does chp laptop charge $10 instead of $5 like the ezlaptop did.  Are they trying to scam us twice? or if you have a better reson I am very anxious to hear it.

Have a good and patient day, DUDE, and I have to agree BUMP
