Troubles with computer - hijacked

Other than popups and occasional homepage change, it also puts an unremovable toolbar up the top and a blue toolbar which pops up occasionally down the bottom. Also, it opens up hundreds of 'iexplore' so that the computer runs low on memory resources. It's the Open Search Web (lop.com) Hijacker, i'm pretty sure (consid. it opens up Open Web Search AT lop.com when i search through the toolbar). Please, help me! It's driving me insane.

Hello again
Your right about LOP, that's what's infected your machine
Unfortunately it was added when you installed Messenger Plus

Can you do the following for me please
I need you too uninstall Messenger Plus from your machine
You can install it at a later time if you wish, but choose NOT to install the Sponsor
DON'T reinstall it until we have you clean

Follow these instructions
At the point where it asks if you just want to uninstall the Sponsor
I want you to uninstall the WHOLE program for now

1. Click on the "Start" button in the lower-left corner of your screen and choose "Control Panel".

2. Choose "Add or Remove Programs" in your Control Panel. A list of all your installed programs will pop up.

3. Select "Messenger Plus! 3" in the software list and click the "Change/Remove" button.

4. You will be asked what you want to remove when you have installed Messenger Plus! with the optional sponsor. If you want to get rid of the search bar, advertisements, icons on your desktop and changed start page but keep Messenger Plus! itself, choose "Uninstall the sponsor program only".

Note: The option to uninstall the sponsor program is only there when the sponsor was installed by Messenger Plus!. If there is no option to uninstall the sponsor program but you do have some kind of adware running on your PC then this is not coming from Messenger Plus!.

5. When you uninstall Plus! you are asked if you want to keep your settings and/or Plus! plugins in case you want to re-install Plus!. Uncheck the boxes in front of the options to keep it.

6. Press "Uninstall" to remove Messenger Plus!. Messenger will be shutdown.

7. An additional window will pop up when you chose to uninstall the sponsor program. Type over the verification code in the empty box and press "UNINSTALL" to completely remove the sponsor program.

After it's removed
Restart your computer

Back in Windows, run another scan with HIjackthis and post a fresh log

Open Hijackthis>>Open Misc tools section
To the right hand side of "Generate StartupList Log"
Make sure you check both of these boxes
List all minor sections(Full)
and
List Empty Sections(Complete)
