Picked up a relatively rare brand new boomslang 2000. Installed the software and drivers. Reboot. Plugged it into my root port and no detection. OS win98. All of my other USB devices work fine in both of my root ports... This is the part that has me stumped...installed the software on my wife\'s machine, reboot, plugged into a root port and no detection again...but wait, I then plugged it into her powered Belkin hub with all of her other devices and it was instantly recognized and worked. Trying to figure out why since it is a low power device and yet it isnt cooperating unless it is plugged into a high powered port on the self powered hub. Any ideas...Quake III is waiting for me... thx
