rundll32.exe application not found

This happens when i'am trying to open system properties.

Also when i try to open a common program like IE it comes up with open with :S and does that with all the programs, also my computer has been very slow lately from 2 % cpu to 100 % just in a flash

I saw there are 2 other ppl already posted about this but they havent replied so i thought making a new one, hope im not a bug:D

I could barely open any program, i had to find them trough program files and all that, not that its hard just i have to it all the time!

I've scanned with Avast found alot of viruses sorry i dont remember theyr names but they were all deleted, but i guess this is undected by avast

You should perform a repair installation of Windows:

Set you PC to boot from cd first in the BIOS.
Place the xp cd in cdrom and reboot.
Boot from the XP CD and choose install.
Ignore the first repair option and continue with install.
When windows finds the previous installation and offers to repair
then do the repair.
If you have xp sp2 installed it needs to be incorporated into your xp disk or it will not offer the repair option only the clean install.

You could also try to find a solution here.
