Is the free IPOD deal a scam. No. It's been discussed on CNN and in Wired magazine, both singing freeipods praises. Is there a catch? Yes, of course. You have to sign up for a service (some of which are free-like ebay). This requires a credit card. The information however is safe and will not be distributed. All credit info is collected by Verisgn who are very good. The next step is to refer 5 people. They too have to participate in a service and swipe thier card (to purchase the service or register) You will be given a link once you have registered and once anyone goes to the site through that link you're one step closer. I've been at it for 4 days and have 3 refferals. If you get a refferal be patient mind you, it takes up to 15 days for the service provider to relay back to freeipod that you (or someone you have referred) has participated in their deal.
