Glad some things are working now

Can you do the following

==Download and save WinPFind.zip
UNZIP the contents to your desktop
Don't run it yet

From my signature below run an online virus scan at Panda's
Select the MyComputer option to scan
when the scan is done save the report of what was found
Restart your computer into safe mode

Open the WinPFind folder you extracted to desktop
Double click on WinPFind.exe
Click START SCAN
This could take some time as it will scan your drive
Close out after

Restart back to Normal mode
Post the results of the WindPFind.txt located in the WinPFind folder

Also post the report from Panda's and a new Hijackthis log

Ahhhh, I hate losing the battle  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />

I'm glad your up and running again  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />

I suggest that you get your Windows Updates right away and get SP2

After that
I know you use Firefox, so that's a good move

I would also Install
SpywareBlaster 3.4 by JavaCool
*Will block bad ActiveX Controls
*Block Malevolent cookies in Internet Explorer and Firefox
*Restrict actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer
After installation, Check for updates and then click the "Enable all protection"

Now or when Norton's expires
If you need a free solution for an AV let me know, I can supply a link
I like Avast or AVG
You only need one remember

Forgot to add, get yourself
Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.06

and

Spybot 1.4 from
HERE
 or HERE

Run a scan every couple of weeks, make sure you check for updates with both beforehand

Also, after updating Spybot
Click the Immunization button>>OK>>Click on Immunize in the top
Do this after every update
