burning windows 2000

I want to burn my windows 2k OS onto a cd that can be used to be installed again. How do I do this? I have no clue. Another question, if I have a computer with windows 98 installed on one harddrive, can I install windows 2000 on another harddrive and still run both on the same computer?. Let me know, and thanks in advance.

The short answer, to can you make a Win2K install CD from your installed O/S, is no.  Sorry; you need the setup program, scripts and CD boot sectors.

The good news is... the answer to your second question is yes.  Win2K will install a loader in the boot record of the primary drive for multiboot.

But don't forget win98 can not read the ntfs file system, if you format a drive for your windows 2000 application and select ntfs, you will not be able to access that partion with win 98. If you need to format, select fat.

I see, looks like alot of work. Thankfully I had a neighbor let me borrow their Windows 98se boot disc. Thanks for your help anyways.
