Not sure whether Vundo and Morwill came hand-in-hand, but they seem to have. I have quarantined VundoB with Symantec, though not rid myself of it. Morwill is still gleefully reeking havoc on my machine. Please advise which files to fix from my HT scan. Thanks and thank you for this site!!

Can you do the following, we'll take a look how your log looks afterwards

First of all, please redownload hijackthis from my signature below, only run Hijackthis from this new location

I need you too disable your Spyware protections until you are clean
They may, and probably will interfere with any fixes we try

Open Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Click on Options>> Settings.
In the left pane, click on Real-time Protection.
Under Startup Options uncheck Enable the Microsoft AntiSpyware Security Agents on startup (recommended).
Under Real-time spyware threat protection uncheck Enable real-time spyware threat protection (recommended).
After you uncheck these, click on the Save button and close Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Right click on the Microsoft AntiSpyware icon on the taskbar and select Shutdown Microsoft AntiSpyware.

Please disable SpySweeper,
To disable SpySweeper:

Open it click >Options over to the left then >program options >Uncheck "load at windows startup".
Over to the left click "shields" and uncheck all there.
Uncheck "home page shield".
Uncheck "automatically restore default without notification".

Afterwards, do the following
==Download and Install this small program
to help clean your temp folders,cookies, etc...
Windows Cleanup! 4.0
Don't run this yet, we'll need it in a bit

==Download and then Install
Ewido Security Suite

When installing, under "Additional Options" Uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".

From the main ewido screen, click on Update in the left menu, then click the Start update button.
After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
Close out Ewido for now, we'll need it later
If for some reason the Updater won't work can you manually download the
Updates from this link after you have Ewido installed

Please print this out or save these instructions to notepad for reference
RESTART your Computer in SAFE MODE without networking
You can do this by tapping the F8 key as the system is restarting, just before Windows loads, or use the link
I supplied for a more detailed explanation

In safe mode

==Open Windows CleanUp!>>START>>programs>>Cleanup!
Click on the CleanUp button, let it finish scanning for files, when it's done
DECLINE to Log off or Restart when scan is done.

==Open Ewido Security Suite
Click on the Scanner button on the left menu
Select Complete System Scan
*If Ewido finds something it will prompt you with "Infected Object found"
Ensure the following are Selected
*1. Perform Action = Remove
*2. Create Encrypted Backup in Quarantine (Recommended)
*3. Perform action with all infections
Then click OK
When Ewido has finished it's scan click the "Save Report" button
Save the report to desktop
Exit Ewido

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O2 - BHO: Bho - {EFDAC3FE-F44A-4030-8589-1E23BC6573D5} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\yricroap.dll

O20 - Winlogon Notify: vturo - C:\WINDOWS\system32\vturo.dll (file missing)

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows,
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Reboot back to safe mode

Back in Normal mode

Scan "Local Disks"
When it's done, save a report and post it back here, thanks

Also, post a fresh hijackthis log and the report you saved earlier from Ewido's

Thank you for your help! It seems to have worked for some of it, but Panda turned up something vundo-esque still. Should I try to delete it from my registry? Or is there another way? Below are my reports and HT log.

Sorry for the delay, Verizon Toolbar is legit
Ewido removed a file related to it

Can you open Ewido and click on Quarantine
Highlight only this file
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Verizon Online\SFP\vzbb.dll

and click Restore

Afterwards

Open Hijackthis>>Open misc tools section>>Open "Delete File on Reboot"
In the File name field, copy and paste the bold line below

C:\WINDOWS\system32\vtuts.dll

Close down this browser window and then click OPEN in Hijackthis
Hijackthis should prompt that the file will be deleted on reboot
Please reboot your computer

Back in Windows
You should run Panda's one more time to ensure your clean

Fabulous! Panda still found two instances of adware, but they are both Verizon related and so probably the legit ones you were speaking of. Here are their paths:

I'm curious why Ewido and Panda's are both pegging that file as bad
It is a legit file and toolbar
Of course if you don't need the toobar installed you can uninstall it

If everything is running better, please do the following
You should disable system restore>>>reboot>> and then reenable it
This will clear all your restore points and ensure you don't restore any nasties

Once System Restore is reenabled

You should set up protection against future attacks

After installation, Check for updates and then click the "Enable all protection"
