From what I've read, I don't see a reason to want it or need it.

I don't see why any selfrespecting computer geek would want such a bloated restrictive operating system. I like the independence that I have with XP. I can copy what I want without Bill sticking his nose into my business.

If Apple follows thru and makes thier O.S. availible for PCs........
that's what I'll try first before that resource hog Microsoft calls Vista.
Of cource when XP came out, we said it was a hog too.

Damn Straight! if i upgrade, it won't be legitimate. I'll do watevea i $^&*^$@$ well like on my computer and i think we have the right to do it without some rich bugger shoving his nose into our business. It's my computer and i should be able to do everyting that i want without my  OS saying, "Sorry you can't do that, because it might hurt Bill's feelings". I say, Micr$hit, GET STUFFED!
