OK, so this is really annoying. I downloaded 1 of dem MSN Display Pic stealers from the web (I won't metion any names) and it contained the Downloader.Dialer.12.E Trojan horse and a crapload of spyware (Stupid bunch of ^%*&^%*&). So, as soon as i installed it my AV sostware (AVG Antivirus Free) popped up and said congrats u have a virus. I hit the heal button and it healed the files successfully. I ran a full system just to make sure that it was gone. There was one infected file still there and .cpy file which is the files window$ uses for it's system restore function. I've had this type of infected file b4 so i disabled system restore, did a reboot and the file was gone. Then I ran AdAware to get rid of the spyware and adware, all 157 items that had been installed by the virus only (I just cleaned the computer that morning so it was crap-free b4 the virus). I thought to myself, yer Bob's my uncle until I tried to dial the net. It seems to connect ok, i just can't do anything. If i try to sign into msn it say we can't sign you in. If i try to surf the web, evrypage is the 'Page Cannot be displayed error'. If i try to check my mail with outlook express, it says that the pop server can't be found. Can someone give me something to fix it? I need it extremly urgently!!!!
