Alright....things seem to be fine!  No weirdness, everything is running well.....except for several things that I need to reinstall the drivers for.  They started showing as corrupt when this happened.

As for that entry in the log that you pointed out, I have no idea what it is.  I've never had any sort of program related to passwords installed.  Most of what I have are video/audio/graphic related.  Anything else that it may be?  I did a search on my computer for interceptor.dll and came up empty.  Should I delete that entry?

Please do another search for interceptor.dll
Remember before searching use the advanced options and tick the top 3 options
which include Search within hidden files and folders

If it's not found
have hijackthis fix that entry and then reboot the computer

I would like some info about it however

Can you also open Hijackthis>>Open Misc tools section>>Open uninstall manager
Click the SAVE LIST button
Save the list to desktop and copy and paste the whole contents back here

When I was searching for that dll earlier, I did have everything checked, but I looked again and nothing came up.  I did some searching around, and according to what I saw, Tenebril uses that dll.  I did have their Spyware detection program installed last weekend, but got rid of it when we began our 'journey'.

I deleted that entry in HijackThis, and here is the uninstall list:

Thanks for the info on interceptor.dll

I didn't realize you had CCleaner installed, we could of used that instead of CleanUp!
But you have both, hold onto cleanup if you like, up to you

I just realized you posted your log on another forum  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />
Typically, I won't interfere with any ongoing fixes
Now that I read back you mentioned that, my bad

Make sure you look for this folder and delete it if found
C:\WINDOWS\VXNlcgAA <-this folder

Open Hijackthis>>Open Misc tools section>>Open Uninstall manager
Highlight Command from the list and then Delete the entry

Access your Add/remove programs via control panel
Remove Viewpoint Manager (Remove Only) if you didn't intentionally install it
I would opt to remove it

Your version of Firefox is a bit behind
I like to download the latest version
http://www.mozilla.org/
Save the installer
Remove firefox from add/remove programs and then install the latest version
Up to you, you can try the updater if you like

Stay safe mediachick  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />

Yes, I was receiving some help on another forum, but it wasn't going well.  I really appreciated his help, but things were moving slowly (I have an event being hosted online this week, so I knew I had to deal with this in time for it), so I decided to try another forum to see what the response would be.  You seemed to have a little more of an idea of what to do since l2mfix wasn't responding at first, so I stuck with you from there out.

Here's where I eventually figured out a bit about that dll, by the way...
http://www.spywaredata.com/spyware/malware...rceptor.dll.php

Thanks for letting me know that Firefox is out of date.  I really only use it to check the website I run to be sure it's viewing properly, so I don't have it open often.  From what I hear lately though, maybe I should switch from Explorer to Firefox for everything.... http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />

Thank you so much for your help, guestolo!  You have no idea how much I appreciate your time, patience, and knowledge!  I will definitely be making a donation to this site  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />

Thanks again!

Yah, I would definitely stick with Firefox, but that's up to you
It is a safer browser

If you need to view a page in IE, I like to add a little extension to Firefox
Called IEView
https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/morei...ication=firefox

Again, up to you  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

Take care mediachick
