so how long does it take to credit your account if you did pow web. one guy said he talked to an operator and they said 30 days. that means you can't cancel it and get most of the money back.

lol, I guess the site is not gonna be back, and to to ppl that really did the offers, do the 30day money back thing. The most you'll be scammed for is like $10-25 - which is the cost of the domain and that's not returnable (or if u paid setup fees, that would really suck).

Ok as you all can see someone hacked the website tonight. I kinda put it on ourself for not using a real host and domain name.

The hacker got into the site and changed the entire site. They also changed the password and we can't get in. They changed the account on our metarewards account (which is the place that pays us for your referral) We have sent them a email about this along with a link to the site to show it was hacked. Hopefully we will get that password back.

We will be ordering our own domain name and hosting once we get some of this figured out. Everyone that is currently processing your orders will go out Nov 25th as far as everyone that completed a offer within the last 2-5 days just give us sometime and we will get this settled with metarewards and give you the credit you deserve.

Just give us time and all this will get taken care of.

Ok, assuming all of the sites require 30+ days before they credit the affiliate, EVERYBODY that signed up needs to cancel their orders before the 30 days are up.  If everyone cancels, this jackass won't see a dime.

I agree i signed up for this site also. I'm not just going to cancel my offer just because someone said so. The site got hacked they said they would put up a new site and everyone will get their credit.

If they were a scam why is the owner always on AIM? and willing to respond to emails from everyone?

Because for everyone that falls for the scam long enough he makes $50-$100.  C'mon, if everyone else requires at least 5 referrals, how is one guy with a Geocities account going to send you an iPod for one hosting signup?  It doesn't make sense that if you sign up for PowWeb at $7.77 per month for a year (which is about $94) that you'll get an iPod that costs about $400.

But if you guys are buying, great.  You'll only encourage more fraud.  Tell you what, go to my site and sign up for one offer and I'll send you a 60Gig iPod and an XBox 360.  That way you don't have to choose...

it is definitely a scam, and this dude has run away with all the $ he got from ppl signing up for offers.

it didnt make sense in the first place how he was making $50-100 and sending out a $400+ ipod

We haven't gone anywhere. We are still dealing with the hacking problem we had last thursday.

We have purchased a domain name and hosting and are in the process or re-coding the site and we will have it up within 1-2 weeks
