Can you try the following

Open Hijackthis>>Open Misc tools section>>Open "Delete File on Reboot"
Copy and paste the following bold line into the file name field
Then click the OPEN button

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Windows\mc-110-12-0000137.exe

Don't allow hijackthis to reboot yet

Instead, Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [services32] C:\Program Files\Common Files\Windows\mc-110-12-0000137.exe

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Reboot your computer

Back in Windows, run hijackthis again and post a fresh log

Can you also let me know what other files you see in this folder
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Windows <-this folder

NOTE: IF you get any prompts from Microsoft AntiSpyware
ALLOW any changes so it won't interfere

Are all items enabled on startup with msconfig??

Here is the new log. I also uninstalled Microsoft antispy prior to doing any of this per the recommendation of yours in another thread of not having more than one spyware software running. There are only two files in the the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Windows folder:
AutoIt3 script file
psapi.dll

Thanks for all your help.

Actually, I find MAS fairly good program
Sorry you uninstalled it, it's realtime protection is competent also
You may of noticed a thread where the user had multiple scanners running, I just don't want interference
And some spyware scanners are bogus, the user get's convinced to install them
I would reinstall it, but let's make sure your clean first

Can you do the following
Go back to
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Windows folder

Can you right click on those files and left click properties
Let me know date created, was it about the same time popups starting happening
Do you know what they're related too

The Windows folder in not in the right place
The psapi.dll belongs in the System32 folder

Can you run both those files
Jotti's Online Malware scan
Give this site time to load if busy

Use the browse button and navigate to the file on your hard drive
Right click on it  and choose Select
Then use the Submit button
Let it finish scanning
Could you post back the results of the scans back here please

Do you want to post your own logs from FRST?

Once everything thing is gone I will reinstall MSAP as I also feel it is a good program. But thank you for your input as it is very valueable to me as you help alot of people.

The psapi.dll file is also in the system32 folder. The dates are from a year ago(Feb 2004) so I don't believe this is a problem but I did run it on the website you suggested as well as the other file and that one may be the prob. It was also created on Nov 2 05 which is when the problem started. The pop up ads I am getting are always related to the subject that I am on the web about or CASINO!!!!!!!!!

Here are the results from virusscan.jotti.org:

I am going to post this here hoping you will see this. I must have gotten ahold of something because now mu laptop is doing funny things. Boots very slow for one and after it boots it has a Microsoft windows error. It has to do with the internet protocol. Here is the hijackthis file for that machine. Thanks for any help you provide in advance.

I don't normally like too see more than one log per computer in a thread
But since the other 2 don't look so bad

The first log you posted we'll call the WORK computer

The second log we'll call the LAPTOP computer

The third log we'll call HOME computer

HOME computer looks good

LAPTOP computer
Do the following
Check for updates with EWIDO

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O2 - BHO: Local Spool Net support DLL - {41943050-65CC-454B-81E4-9C8A9D7CBAEA} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\localsplnet.dll (file missing)

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Reboot your computer into SAFE MODE
Run a complete system scan with EWIDO
Save a report when it's done

Reboot back to normal mode

Back in Windows, Run another scan with hijackthis and post a fresh log along with the report from Ewido's
If you get an error message on startup, let me know the exact message
NOTE:
IF Microsoft AntiSpyware prompts about a change, allow them so it won't interfere

Are you still getting popups with the WORK computer?

I am not at the work computer right now but I was after we made the last changes.
I know it is difficult working with more than one per thread so thanks for looking at all.

I did not get the error this time but I am working on a wirelessG network at home which has always worked perfectly, last night I copied about 12gig from my home to my laptop and everything was fine. now tonight when I try to copy some of these files back after working on them today, the laptop just reboots. and then I get the error again. The error is as follows:

This error report includes:informationregarding the condition of Microsoft Windows when the problem occurred, the operating system version and computer hardware in use, and the Internet Protocol(IP) address of your computer.

Techincal info is as follows:
C:\Documents and settings\******\local settings\temp\WERaf4e.dir00\Mini110505-05.dmp
C:\Documents and settings\******\local settings\temp\WERaf4e.dir00\sysdata.xml

I will provide you with the error signature info if needed.

I did as you asked per your revised post. Ran Ewido in safe mode and rebooted and did not get the error message. I then tried to pull files from laptop to home over the LAN and it reboot on its own. At that point I uninstalled the wireless equipment, software and drivers and reinstalled them. THis has seemed to finally cured the problem.

I just wish I had the knowledge to understand all these reports better. I am the type that loves to learn but without the proper info this is all GREEK to me. Can you direct me in the right direction for some resources so that I can understand all of this better?

Here are the log files anyway.

Thanks so much for all your help tonight and earlier today. I will get back with you on Monday on the Work computer and to also give a contribution for all your help and patience.

When you get a chance, on the WORK computer
Can you do the following please

Download AproposFix from here:
http://swandog46.geekstogo.com/aproposfix.exe

Save it to your desktop but do NOT run it yet.

Then please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

Once in Safe Mode, please double-click aproposfix.exe and unzip it to the desktop.  Open the aproposfix folder on your desktop and run RunThis.bat.  Follow the prompts.

As soon as I get in tommorrow I will do as directed. I have one more issue with my Dads computer. He can not get on all website. When you go to some sites it claims that they are not available. Here is his log if you could look at it for me. He done a dirty install of winxp and if there are any programs running that we need to remove please advise. The one I am in question of is MEMTURBO. Why would you not let winxp manage mem.

Thanks again.

It's getting a bit confusing with all the different logs in the same thread for seperate computers

Can you go up a couple and look at the response I gave you for the WORK computer
Post back the findings
I'm just on my way to work too, so I won't see it till later

Do you want to post your own logs from FRST?

How's everything on the WORK computer?
You should run an updated scan with Ad-Aware clean all Criticals

I have some final cleanup procedures, just let me know if everything is good
Get rid of this file
AutoIt3.exe
