For some final cleanup on your work computer
You should do the following
If everything is running better, please do the following
You should disable system restore>>Reboot your computer>>and then reenable it
This will clear all your restore points and ensure you don't restore any nasties
How to Disable and Re-enable System Restore feature

Once System Restore is reenabled

You should set up protection against future attacks
SpywareBlaster 3.4 by JavaCool
*Will block bad ActiveX Controls
*Block Malevolent cookies in Internet Explorer and Firefox
*Restrict actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer
After installation, Check for updates and then click the "Enable all protection"

IE-SPYAD puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.
Here is a tutorial and download link
TUTORIAL==Link to Tutorial
Download link

With both, Check for updates every couple of weeks
Keep the link to IE-Spyad bookmarked so you can check for updates
SpywareBlaster, after every update just simply click the "enable all protection"
IE-Spyad is compatible with SP2

You should install these 2 free utilities on all your computers

From what I remember, we just have to clean up Dad's computer
Can you post a fresh hijackthis log from his please

Here is new Hijackthis log for Dad's machine. One question that  I asked before was this machine is running Memturbo to manage the memory. Would it be better to remove this and let WinXP manage the memory. Please give me some advice.

Nothing malicious in the log,
You can run a scan with hijackthis and fix checked the below with all other windows closed
Including this one

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = c:\windows\SYSTEM\blank.htm
O16 - DPF: Win32 Classes -
O16 - DPF: {15589FA1-C456-11CE-BF01-000000000000} - http://www.errornuker.com/products/errn200...erInstaller.exe

Reboot your computer

Many logs I see with MemTurbo installed have an entry for user and global startup
So that's normal

Myself, I'm not a big fan of memory managers
