Computer running really slowly

I have a laptop and i have posted here before and found your help invaluable.  My laptop has been running smoothly for almost half a year since i last posted except now it takes and age to load simple things such as mozilla and general windows.... startup is also much slower than it has been before.... any help would be appreciated..... shall i post a hijack this log for you...

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5C8B2A36-3DB1-42A4-A3CB-D426709BBFEB} - (no file)

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Reboot your computer

Besides that nothing else looks bad, just that leftover

When was the last time you ran a Disk Cleanup and a Defrag???

What's the last program your remember installing before the slowdown??

Okay I did that.... Still slow.  Oh well I think it might just be shot.

The computer I'm referring to in the posts does not have internet on it at the moment.... I am at work whenever I check the forum so I can't post a hijack this log.  The last program I installed I have removed and no change it was a Sudoku game i believe and i defragged a day or so before I posted.  Any thoughts.
