I don't know or have the "slightest" idea about graphics card.
But i got a Gigabyte 256mb Raedeon 9600 pro..

Is that good or not?.. is it a standard graphics card?

And also.. i want anyone to recommend a graphics card which is real good but cheap to purchase

The 9600pro is considered a lower midrange card. Pretty soon it'll become and "entry-level" card. If you're a casual gamer, not wanting to play BF2, CoD 2, etc...then its a pretty good card.

A good card for the money now is the Nvidia 6600GT, or 6800. On the ati side, the X800 GTO. They're slipping into midrange now, but they'll play Doom3, etc. on high settings.

If you have the money, a Nvidia 6800GT, or ATI x800 is what you should be looking at for superior performance. The best cards available are the Nvidia 7800GTX, and soon-to-be-released ATI x1800 series. They're both damn expensive.

Yes it will. I have personally played Warcraft3: FT on a system with a sempron 3000+, 512mb RAM, and a Radeon 9600pro.

It ran the game on medium-high or even high settings. The performance in other games was great too. Farcry, UT2004, and CS: S all ran on about medium settings. No lag.

very true, u want at least a Radeon 9800se or an equivalent nVidia card to play all the latest resource-hogging crap.
Windows: A thirty-two bit extension and GUI shell to a sixteen bit patch to an eight bit operating system originally coded for a four bit microprocessor and sold by a two-bit company that can't stand one bit of competition.

For God's Sake, stop using Micro$oft's stuff - it has security like a piece of swiss cheese!

ok first before u go spending 300$+ dollars on a graphic card you should first learn why they are that much ands the point. For startes a graphic card is design to give games, picture well hell everything better quality. ok now it real doesnt matter as much on the size of the card ex 128megs 64megs 256megs and so on. It matters more on the clock speed, and the core speed of the card. The clock and core speed will determine  how good the  graphic card is. I have an ATI readon 9200se 128meg, defualt core and clock speeds are about 200mhz very slow compared to the new 300-500mhz. The newest are running at only about 550mhz core speed. but my graphic card with a few tweaks that you can find on the internet is now running at a core speed of about 275mhz and clock of over 300mhz. the clock speed with always beable to go higher. Yes by basicly overclocking/and by speeding up the core it will overheat and can damage the card only if u dont have cooling. so if u want to spend about 100$ on a graphic card and some fans instead of 300$min on a card and also by more fans (runs faster still need more cooling) then  its your choice Im just here to give u some other things to think about. So i would go to google and find out info before always buyinh things. Help this helped a lil and didnt confuse u lol or and also my 9200se can play almost any game and run on high settings ive tried it
