Hard Disk on last legs
« on: November 27, 2005, 11:56:09 PM »
Hi,

My grandpa's pc is spitting out hard disk errors. He's bringing the tower down to my place this week and i need Hard Disk diagnostics to assess what's wrong. I already took remote control last week and ran scandisk but this didn't do anything useful (suprise, suprise). If any1 has any great diagnostic tools to assess hard disk probs, please post the link. I need them by Thursday (Monday today)

Thnx in advance.
Windows: A thirty-two bit extension and GUI shell to a sixteen bit patch to an eight bit operating system originally coded for a four bit microprocessor and sold by a two-bit company that can't stand one bit of competition.

For God's Sake, stop using Micro$oft's stuff - it has security like a piece of swiss cheese!

Best thing is to find out what company makes the hard drive. Because every company has their own HD diagnostic tool.
