Hi, I hope that somebody is able to help me, i´ve got every kind of popups on my desktop with that kind of names, i ve tryed to fix it with Adaware and several anti-spyware software but not succeding for the moment.

Sorry for the delay
Can you do the following please

Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

http://www.atribune.org/downloads/l2mfix.exe
http://www.downloads.subratam.org/l2mfix.exe

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

[color=\"red\"]IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so! This Fix must NOT be run in safe mode for it to work.[/color]

if you receive, while running option #1, an error similar like: ''C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe
C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications. choose close to terminate the application.."...then please use option 5 or the web page link in the l2mfix folder to solve this error condition. do not run the fix portion without fixing this first.

But can you do the following please

I need you too disable Norton AV scriptblocking so it won't interfere with this fix
1. Start Norton AntiVirus.
If Norton AntiVirus is installed as part of Norton SystemWorks or Norton Internet Security, then start that program.
2. Click Options.
If you see a menu, click Norton AntiVirus.
3. In the left pane, click Script Blocking.
4. In the right pane, uncheck Enable Script Blocking (recommended).
5. Click OK.

Afterwards
Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter. It will process then start. Your desktop and icons will disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, it will be ready for a reboot. Press any key to reboot. After the reboot notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.

If after the reboot the log does not open double click on it in the l2mfix folder.

When I click option 2, it seems like it tryes to kill processes, but it failed to kill one of them and then gave me and error message "Registry editor : cannot export shell.reg, error trying to open this file. it could be becouse of an disk or a system file failure"

Did you disable Norton's script blocking??

Also, I noticed Xoftspy on your computer earlier, do you still have it installed
If so, are there any realtime protections enabled that could interfere

You now also have Microsoft AntiSpyware installed
Was this installed before you ran the Fix portion?

This could be from having the Spanish version of windows
that this fix may not work, if not we'll try other methods

Hi, yes i´ve disabled the norton antivirus scripting box, also now i have uninstalled Xoftspy, microsoft anty-spyware and other realtime protection software , i only have ad-aware which i believe doesnt have realtime protection, i ve runned the fix again but it gives me the same message "Registry editor : cannot export shell.reg, error trying to open this file. it could be becouse of an disk or a system file failure", im going to post the results of hijack report again, the popups keep coming up everytime with all different kinds of names, i have tryied also to stop some of the windos xp services that look suspicious.. anyway i think that i´ll end up reinstalling the pc..

I hope you didn't clean install yet
We had a couple other options

Can you do the following please
Delete your copy of L2Mfix

Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:
I need you to run this version as it's been updated
This copy should support your version of XP

http://www.atribune.org/downloads/l2mfix.exe
http://www.downloads.subratam.org/l2mfix.exe

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop.

Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter. It will process then start. Your desktop and icons will disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, it will be ready for a reboot. Press any key to reboot. After the reboot notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.

If after the reboot the log does not open double click on it in the l2mfix folder.

ok, so now i think it worked well. The fix tries to guees the administrator password as i see but i dont use the administrator account, i have a differetn named user with administrative priviledges, anyway, here goes the new logs.

Can you fix the next ones too, may be set by yourself or a security program to lock home page,etc..
But I want you too have access to these

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Reboot the computer

Back in Windows, can you do the following

Open Ewido Security Suite
From the main ewido screen, click on Update in the left menu, then click the Start update button.
After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
Close out Ewido for now, we'll need it later
If for some reason the Updater won't work can you manually download the
Updates from this link after you have Ewido installed
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/updates/

Click on the Scanner button on the left menu
Select Complete System Scan
*If Ewido finds something it will prompt you with "Infected Object found"
Ensure the following are Selected
*1. Perform Action = Remove
*2. Create Encrypted Backup in Quarantine (Recommended)
*3. Perform action with all infections
Then click OK
When Ewido has finished it's scan click the "Save Report" button
Save the report to desktop
Exit Ewido

Don't open a browser yet, instead access Internet Options via ControlPanel
Under the Programs tab "Reset Web Settings"
Under the General tab---Delete files + offline content---Also Reset home page

Post back a fresh hijackthis log and the report from Ewido's please

If everything is running better, please do the following
You should disable system restore>>Reboot your computer>>and then reenable it
This will clear all your restore points and ensure you don't restore any nasties
How to Disable and Re-enable System Restore feature
Make sure you reenable system restore feature

Afterwards, For added protections
You should install this free tool
SpywareBlaster 3.4 by JavaCool
*Will block bad ActiveX Controls
*Block Malevolent cookies in Internet Explorer and Firefox
*Restrict actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer
After installation, Check for updates and then click the "Enable all protection"

Check for updates every couple of weeks
after every update just simply click the "enable protection...."

Additionally, you may also like to have this tool installed
A great compliment to the latest version of Ad-Aware Se personal
Spybot 1.4 from can be downloaded

After installation--Click the UPDATE button on the left
SEARCH FOR UPDATES on the right
Check, and then download all updates
After update is complete
Click the "Immunize" button on the left>>>OK at the prompt>>Immunzine at the top green cross
Click the "Search & Destroy" button on the left
"Check for Problems"---When the Scan is complete
FIX all selected promblems in RED

RESTART the computer to finish any cleaning process
Do the above after every update

I would opt to hold onto Ewido also, it's a great tool

Don't forget to reenable Norton's script blocking if it was disable earlier
