Hosts file looks good

Can you do the following please

==Download and Install
Windows Cleanup! 4.0
Don't run it yet

==Download SmitRem.exe by Noahdfear and save the file to your desktop.

==Download and Install Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.06
Open Ad-Aware, ensure to click the  check for updates now link and Connect to download the latest updates
Make sure it is updated but don't run a scan yet

==Download and then Install
Ewido Security Suite

When installing, under "Additional Options" Uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".

From the main ewido screen, click on Update in the left menu, then click the Start update button.
After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
Close out Ewido for now, we'll need it later
If for some reason the Updater won't work can you manually download the
Updates from this link after you have Ewido installed
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/updates/

Please Save the rest of these instructions too notepad or Print them out for use in Safe mode

RESTART your Computer in SAFE MODE
You can do this by tapping the F8 key as the system is restarting, just before Windows loads
If the system restarts back to Normal mode you will have to do it again

==Open Cleanup! by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (or from the Start > All Programs menu).
Set the program up as follows:
Click "Options..."

It's safe to leave the "Standard Cleanup" options if you have no Newsgroup Cache or subcriptions
and if you have no files you want to hold onto saved as temp.
Personally, I run the Standard cleanup

If you don't want to clean those locations
Move the arrow down to "Custom CleanUp!"
Put a check next to the following (Make sure nothing else is checked!):

    * Empty Recycle Bins
    * Delete Cookies
    * Delete Prefetch files
    * Cleanup! All Users

Click OK
Press the CleanUp! button to start the program.
When it's done
Decline to Log off or Restart the computer
Remain in safe mode

==Double click on SmitRem.exe to extract it to it's own folder on the desktop.
Open the smitRem folder, then double click the RunThis.bat file to start the tool. Follow the prompts on screen.
Wait for the tool to complete and disk cleanup to finish.

==Open Ewido Security Suite
Click on the Scanner button on the left menu
Select Complete System Scan
*If Ewido finds something it will prompt you with "Infected Object found"
Ensure the following are Selected
  *1. Perform Action = Remove
  *2. Create Encrypted Backup in Quarantine (Recommended)
  *3. Perform action with all infections
  Then click OK
When Ewido has finished it's scan click the "Save Report" button
Save the report to desktop
Exit Ewido

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O2 - BHO: HomepageBHO - {e0103cd4-d1ce-411a-b75b-4fec072867f4} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\hpFDFF.tmp

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Open Ad-Aware personal 1.06
Click START
Click the radio button to Perform a Full system scan then click NEXT
When it's finished scanning
At this point you should either right click on the screen and and choose the "Select All" Objects option or individually put a checkmark in each objects checkbox
click on the Next button. Ad-Aware SE will now present you with a confirmation box as to whether or not you would like to remove the objects you have just selected. Press the "OK" button

Restart back to Normal mode

Back in Windows
Can you post all the following back please

1. Post the Report from Ewido's
2. Post a new Hijackthis log
3. Post the log made from SmitRem located here C:\Smitfiles.txt

Do you want to post your own logs from FRST?

Can you do the following please
Realplayer updater doesn't need to run on startup
Launch RealPlayer
- Click on the Tools and choose Preferences
- Under the Automatic Services category, choose Message Center
- Press the button marked "Configure Message Center"
- UNCHECK the option labeled Checking - Check for new messages
- Choose Yes when the warning pops-up

Afterwards

Do a "System scan only" with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot

I don't recognize the next activex
Have hijackthis fix it please if you don't know what it is
It will be reinstalled if needed
O16 - DPF: {F104576A-91BA-40AD-91DE-2C2080133900} - http://www.search-climbers.net/download/cab/ieplugin.cab

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Reboot the computer

Back in Windows
Post one more hijackthis log and let me know how things are running
You have other optionals that don't need to be running on startup, let me know if you would like to disable them if you would like to go this route

We still need to do a final cleanup

Do you want to post your own logs from FRST?

I didn't see

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot

So I just checked off the other one.

I'd like to clean up whatever you think doesn't need to start. Also the windows installer pops up as the desktop is loading. It says it's trying to install Microsoft money ?

Here is the hijackthig log:

Microsoft money, as you can see is in your hijackthis log
It is recommended only to start it manually

We'll get to that later, just cancel it out for now

Besides that popup

Final cleanup
If everything is running better, please do the following
You should disable system restore>>Reboot your computer>>and then reenable it
This will clear all your restore points and ensure you don't restore any nasties
How to Disable and Re-enable System Restore feature
Make sure you reenable system restore feature

Afterwards, For added protections
You should install this free tool
SpywareBlaster 3.4 by JavaCool
*Will block bad ActiveX Controls
*Block Malevolent cookies in Internet Explorer and Firefox
*Restrict actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer
After installation, Check for updates and then click the "Enable all protection"

Check for updates every couple of weeks
after every update just simply click the "enable protection on all unprotected items"

Now, about the optionals, you can use msconfig to control some entries
I prefer to use this small tool
Don't disable something if it's needed>>Eg.. Your Anti-Virus
Codestuff's Starter
UNZIP it to a folder of it's own
Eg...Open MyDocuments>>Right click an empty spot and left click NEW>>Folder
Name it something like "Starter"
Uncheck an item to disable on startup
Or look within a program first to disable on startup

Go to this link, http://castlecops.com/modules.php?name=StartupList
Here's a couple examples I put into the Search field and the results I got
O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\OSA.EXE
I entered into the Search field
OSA.EXE

Here's the results
Quote
Application which launches common MS Office components to help speed up the launch of Office programs. It's somewhat of a resource hog, and some users claim there's no difference with or without it but it usually isn't required - Note: if you make use of the Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar outside an office program this application will need to be enabled for it to show.
I have this disabled on startup, Office programs work fine

Another eg..
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MoneyStartUp10.0] "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money\System\Activation.exe"
I entered Activation.exe
into the Search field
Here's the results
Quote
MoneyStartUp10.0   N   Activation.exe   Part of MS Money 2002. Available via Start -> Programs

The N stands for Not required on startup, available via Start>>Programs menu

Do a little work and see what you require on startup
Use Codestuff's starter to disable an entry, this way if you need it reenabled on startup you can use Starter
to recheck it again

Let me know how it runs after that
