Spyware...first contact

In learning about and eliminating Spyware and trojans, I have used SpyBot and Ewido and Trendmicro site, and most of the problems are gone, but these remain on my Dell Dimension 3000:
1. Upon startup after logging in, INternet Explorer will have the message that says the application has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sometimes when I do get through without problems, upon starting the application, it will come up. I have downloaded Firefox, Netscape and IE, and Norton's free antivirus trial but on this computer the installers will quit with the same problem. It's like the infection doesn't want me to get a new copy. ONce in a while I get through.

Finally, SMax4PNP MFC application will not load either (sorry for the inconvenience message) and an error message will upon startup say file 0kg00xc4.dll can not be found.

It's best if you Print these set of instructions

Download Haxfix.exe
Save it to your desktop.
Double click on haxfix.exe to extract all files in a folder on the destkop.
Open the folder haxfix and start fix.bat. This will open a red dos window (dos box).
You get this message:
At this point please type the following: axxt
Press Enter to continue with the fix.

If an infection is found, you'll get a message to close all other open windows.
Close them, except the red dos window from haxfix and press Enter.
The computer will reboot.

After reboot, a new red dos window will open.
This message will appear:
At this point please type the following: axxt
Press Enter to continue with the fix.
When the red dos window closes, the fix is ready.
Post the contents of the logfile c:\haxfix.txt along with a new hijackthislog.

Everything installed and worked fine. The xp will not shut down on it's own. It remains frozen with no icons on the screen just a background when shutdown.

Upon reload, the error message, "Error loading 0kg00xc4.dll The specified module could not be found." comes up.

All four browsers refuse to open and leave no error message (netscape, firefox, explorer, and opera).

HaxFix moves to quick to see what it says but it trys to shut everything down.
