Hellooo i've been having annoying pop-ups from Win-Fixer. It keeps on asking me to install the program that supposedly will fix my registry. I was wondering if I can find out what's causing these annoying pop-ups and get rid of it without having to erase everything on my C drive. Please download [color=\"red\"]VundoFix.exe[/color][/url] to your desktop.
  • Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
  • Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task.
  • You will receive a message saying vundofix will close and re-open in a minute or less. Click OK
  • When VundoFix re-opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.
  • Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
  • You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
  • Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
  • When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
  • Turn your computer back on.
  • Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.

*If everything is running better
We should clear all your restore points to ensure you don't restore any nasties that may be residing in the
restore folders
Go to START>>RUN>>In the open field
type in msconfig
Hit OK
Click the "Launch System Restore" button
On the Left hand side click on "System Restore Settings"
Put a Check in "Turn off System Restore"

Apply it and OK out of there>>Reboot your computer
                           
Back in Windows, Go back and take the check out of Turn off system restore
This will reenable the System Restore feature and creates a new restore point
                 [indent]===========================[/indent]
I would include this free tool if you don't already have it

SpywareBlaster 3.5.1 by JavaCool  
    *Will block bad ActiveX Controls
    *Block Malevolent cookies in Internet Explorer and Firefox
    *Restrict actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer
After installation, Check for updates and then click the "Enable all protection"
Check for updates every couple of weeks
after every update just simply click the "enable protection on all unprotected items"
