do a google search, "ophcrack" and download it (500mb bootable iso) and burn. chuck it in and boot the machine select the account and away you go!
Windows: A thirty-two bit extension and GUI shell to a sixteen bit patch to an eight bit operating system originally coded for a four bit microprocessor and sold by a two-bit company that can't stand one bit of competition.

For God's Sake, stop using Micro$oft's stuff - it has security like a piece of swiss cheese!

try this:

http://www.uploadtemple.com/view.php/1139387194.zip

it creates a diskette image for you to boot on and "reset" your admin password. i dont know if it works for xp sp 2 but it sure works for other versions 2k/2k3/xp (sp0, sp1)

I was having problems getting Windows Server 2003 64-Bit activated and I happened to find a site selling a custom operating system dvd that contains Windows 98se, Windows 2000 Pro, Windows XP Pro, Windows XP Pro 64-Bit, Windows Server 2003 Enterprise, & Windows Server 2003 64-Bit Enterprise all on one DVD. It was only $50, so I bought it and paid for it with PayPal. I tried installing Server 2003 64-Bit, and it was already activated and it works great. I then tried installing the rest of them and none of them require activation! The site is http://www.customoperatingsystemdvd.com/ ... It also has on there a boot cd that you can use to boot from and do lots of useful things from outside outside windows.... check it out.
