You don't need DelDomains it appears

Here's what I replied to you that you missed earlier
Quote
Yah, sometimes The Ewido report can be very long
It was probably clearing out a whole bunch of files in zip folders
As an example
it may of cleaned files in a "Complete" folder or "Shared" folder
Does that sound right?

Are you able to attach the Ewido report?
then I said
Quote
Okay, Excluding the files found bad by Ewido's in the "Complete" folder
Can you post the rest of the log

Also include a fresh hijackthis log

Then I said
Quote
Did you see my previous post?
Just before you posted your last reply
Then I said
Quote
What are you doing??????

Are you not reading my responses to you???
http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />

Anyways, can you do the following

EXCLUDING any files in the Ewido report cleaned in the Complete folder
As an example
 C:\Documents and Settings\Sean\Complete\Lemon Jelly Screensaver 1.0.zip/Setup.exe -> Worm.VB.dw : Cleaned with backup

DO NOT POST any more of those from the log
But include anything lower you missed in the Ewido report
By the way, your hijackthis looks good, how's everything running?

Do you want to post your own logs from FRST?

Things seem to be running ok. But I don't think I'm getting all your messages, or maybe I'm just going to fast. Did you get my question about the Limewire Stubinstaller that looks weird. I tried to delete that program from my machine. That was part of this problem.

It's on Local Disk ©:

StubInstaller
LimeWire swarmed installer
Limewire

(Limewire Icon)

That's exactly how it reads.

Other than the StubInstaller question...I think I'm good. I never opened my email through this whole process. Should my email be ok? What do I need to do to my machine to better protect it? I have Norton, Ad Aware and Spybot. Any suggestions. I'm signing off now. Thanks for your help. I will be making a donation for your efforts. Have a great evening!

Where are you reading that from ?

By all means, delete these files or folders if found
C:\stubinstaller.exe
C:\LimeWire swarmed installer
C:\Limewire

If you have problems remove them in safe mode

I'll post final cleanup later, see if you can remove those first

I deleted that Limewire folder...it was just sitting there when you open up my computer...then local disk C. Anyway I just deleted and emptied my recycle.  I'll check back later for any final instructions. Things seem to be running good.

Thanks again!

*If everything is running better
Final Cleanup
We should clear all your restore points to ensure you don't restore any nasties that may be sitting idle
Go to START>>RUN>>In the open field
    Type in
msconfig
Click OK
Click the "Launch System Restore" button
On the Left hand side click on "System Restore Settings"
Put a Check in "Turn off System Restore"
Apply it and OK out of there>>Reboot your computer
Back in Windows, Go back and take the check out of "Turn off system restore"
This will reenable the System Restore feature and creates a new restore point
Protect yourself against Future Attacks
*Install  SpywareBlaster 3.5.1 by JavaCool
    *Will block bad ActiveX Controls
*Block Malevolent cookies in Internet Explorer and Firefox
*Restrict actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer
After installation, Check for updates and then click the "Enable all protection"
"Check for updates every couple of weeks"
after every update just simply click the "enable protection on all unprotected items"

*Keep up to date on Windows updates
This is one of the most important steps in keeping your system secure
If you don't set to Autoupdate, make sure to visit Windows updates on a regular basis and keep up to date on High Priority updates
In Internet Explorer click on TOOLS>>Windows Updates
Also, Keep your Office program up to date on security updates
At Windows updates there's a link to Office Updates

*Make sure your Anti-Virus software is always kept up to date and actively running in the background

*Make sure your Firewall is enabled and running

*Check for updates with your anti-spyware programs and run a scan on a regular basis
In addition, Open Spybot 1.4
Click the "Immunize" button on the left>>>OK at the prompt>>Immunzine at the top green cross
Please Immunize after every update

You may also choose to hold onto Ewido and CleanUp!
Ewido will become a Limited version in a couple weeks
It's still a very good scanner to update and run once a month

NOTE: Your version of Java is out of date, the latest version includes security updates
The steps I like to take
Go to This Link
Download and save to your desktop the Windows (Offline Installation), it's a bigger download
I find it the most reliable
Don't install it yet, instead, access your Windows Control panel and double click to open the Java Icon
Under the General tab>>Delete files>>Ok the prompt
Access Add/Remove programs and remove any old updates or versions of Java
This includes: J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 3
Afterwards install the latest version

You can go back and enable Norton's Script blocking if still disabled from earlier

Stay safe  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />
