Can you do me the following please

Download and save to desktop the attached file below called "find_it.zip"
Once saved to desktop
Right click on the zip file and Extract the contents to desktop so you now have a file
called find_it.bat on the desktop
Double click on find_it.bat, a window will open and scan and then close quickly, this is normal
Once complete, a folder will be placed on the desktop called Files
Can you open the Files folder>>Inside will be a text file>>Look1.txt
Open it and copy and paste back the whole contents please
It will be long, but I would like to see the whole thing

I may be at work also when you post that contents
If you can, when you get there, could you also do the following
Open Hijackthis>>Open Misc tools section>>Open Uninstall Manager
Click the SAVE LIST button
Save that list too desktop and then copy and paste back here the whole contents please

we may as well kill 2 birds with one stone and fix it all as much as we can
It will  give me an indication of what tools you have for anti-spyware
and what malware may be installed

Eg... Spybot 1.4 and Ad-aware se personal 1.06 are good programs

But if you intentionally installed SpySpotter, remove it, it's bogus
Take a look at this link please

Can you do the following please
==Download and Install
Windows Cleanup! 4.0
Don't run it yet

OPEN EWIDO
From the main ewido screen, click on Update in the left menu, then click the Start update button.
After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
Close out Ewido for now, we'll need it later
If for some reason the Updater won't work can you manually download the
Updates from this link
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/updates/

Access your Add/Remove programs and remove
Ebates Moe Money Maker
Viewpoint Media Player

and
Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2 <-this is outdated and is a security risk

Do you know what "Search Basket" is???
Please let me know

Don't reboot yet
Instead
Do a "System scan only" with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

Did you intentionally install WebEx?
I've seen a few scanners pegging it as optional malware
Just want to make sure

In addition, I had you uninstall your old version of Java
You can now go install the latest version if you haven't done so already
Go to this link
http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
I suggest that although it is a bigger download use the
Windows (Offline Installation)
I find it most reliable

Let me know about WebEx and then we'll do some final steps
Also, you didn't let me know about this

Do you know what "Search Basket" is?

It's in your add/remove programs

Search Basket
and

Reboot later
Find and delete this folder please
C:\Program Files\WebEx <-this folder
Can you also let me know if you find a "Search Basket" folder in Program Files

Post back and let me know how things are running

Looks good

*If everything is running better
Final Cleanup
We should clear all your restore points to ensure you don't restore any nasties that may be sitting idle
Go to START>>RUN>>In the open field
    Type in
msconfig
Click OK
Click the "Launch System Restore" button
On the Left hand side click on "System Restore Settings"
Put a Check in "Turn off System Restore"
Apply it and OK out of there>>Reboot your computer
Back in Windows, Go back and take the check out of "Turn off system restore"
This will reenable the System Restore feature and creates a new restore point
Protect yourself against Future Attacks
*Install  SpywareBlaster 3.5.1 by JavaCool
    *Will block bad ActiveX Controls
*Block Malevolent cookies in Internet Explorer and Firefox
*Restrict actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer
After installation, Check for updates and then click the "Enable all protection"
"Check for updates every couple of weeks"
after every update just simply click the "enable protection on all unprotected items"

*Keep up to date on Windows updates
This is one of the most important steps in keeping your system secure
If not set to AutoUpdate, make a habit of regularly checking for updates at least once a month

Don't forget to keep up to date of Microsoft Office updates for security reasons
A link is supplied at Windows updates>>>Office Family

*Make sure your Anti-Virus software is always kept up to date and actively running in the background

*Make sure your Firewall is enabled and running
A Firewall is very important
This provides a line of defense against someone who might try to access your computer without your permission

*Check for updates with your anti-spyware programs and run a scan on a regular basis
In addition, Open Spybot 1.4
Click on Immunize>>OK>>Immunize at the top green cross
Please immunize after every update

Just enquiring: Do you still have McAfee's SpamKiller installed, or did you just recently install it?
