Does anyone know how to make W2K OEM perform an upgrade of a working WinME install? I\'d rather not do a clean install and spend the next 3 weeks getting everything back the way I want it. Thanks.

Windows ME was released after Windows 2000.  Microsoft doesn\'t suggest that you do an upgrade.  I\'ve yet to try and nor do I intend to.  I would do a clean install for the sake of stability.  Has anyone tried it?
if at first you dont succeed, call it version 1.0

You could try a dual boot WinMe/Win2k like I did so you don\'t have to reinstall all your softwares but only the drivers.

Sounds like a good idea... could you suggest the best way to do this?

You could run WinMe as principal OS like I do and make sure it\'s stable as rock, then install Win2k on another partition of course. Make sure you boot on WInMe by default, this way if you mess up with Win2k you still have WinMe to work with. Since you install everything on WinMe then Win2k will just have the shortcuts to launch your softwares. This means Win2k has a huge amount of free RAM to work this.
