New (to me) Computer
« on: March 02, 2006, 04:00:52 PM »
Ok, I just got a new to me computer, with no disks. Is there a way I can make a cd to restore my computer to if I ever have to reformat it?
Thanks!
Tia

Norton Ghost, although it will make several discs.
By far the easiest and fastest way to image your C: drive using Ghost is to purchase a second hard drive, slave it off your main drive, and send the Ghost image to it.
Using a Ghost boot disc, re-imaging your C: drive will only take 5 to 15 minutes.
Besides, you can use the second drive to store important data on (Ghost images are usually only 1 to 3gig).
 Good luck!
