I am using windows XPsp2. when using start, run, msconfig I get the big error msconfig can NOT be found be found, etc.
When I do a search, there are a few references to it, as to where msconfig is located. When I click on one of the files it opens up and is functional.
I went to a site and also down loaded and unzipped a copy of msconfig for xp sp2. I went to the unzip file of msconfig--it works fine.
I have tried a few other files from run and they open with run.
A few questions:
Why can't run find it?
What could have caused this problem?
Could there be other files as important as msconfig not found?
What the link mechanism that finds msconfig, is it some dll file?
How can I get one the existing msconfig file to link as it should? Shwew!
I hope some can help me out.
