Hi dj_impact
Unfortunately, I'm just on my way to work
So I don't have time to post a fix right at this moment

Don't worry about the popup your getting in the taskbar or anywhere on your screen right now
We'll fix it later
And please, DO NOT install any software advertised in any popups you are getting
or anything else at this moment

It will just make things worse

When I get back later we'll get your computer clean

Do you want to post your own logs from FRST?

Follow the instructions posted http://www.thetechguide.com/forum/index.php/topic/22942-please-read-how-to-post-logs-from-frst/\'>Click Here

You may want to print out these instructions for reference, since you will have to restart your computer during the fix.

Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:
http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/lonny/Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts.  You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so.  Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

Once the desktop loads please save the text that will open (report.txt)
I'll want to see this report later so save it too a convienent location

==Download and install Windows CleanUp! 4.5.1
Don't run this yet
NOTE: If you have an older version of Windows CleanUp!, Please uninstall it and use this newer version

==Download and then Install
Ewido anti-malware 3.5

When installing, under "Additional Options" UNCHECK

    "Install background guard"
     "Install scan via context menu".
From the main ewido screen, click on Update in the left menu, then click the Start update button.
After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
Close out Ewido for now, we'll need it later
If for some reason the Updater won't work can you manually download the
Updates from this link after you have Ewido installed
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/updates/

Download smitRem.exe ©noahdfear, and save the file to your desktop.
Double-click on the smitRem.exe file to extract it to it's own folder on the desktop.

We'll need this later

Save the rest of these instructions to a Notepad file saved to your desktop or Print them out for use in safe mode

RESTART your Computer in SAFE MODE
You can do this by tapping the F8 key as the system is restarting, just before Windows loads
Choose Safe mode from the startup menu

==Open Cleanup! by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (or from the Start > All Programs menu).
Set the program up as follows:
Click "Options..."
Move the arrow down to "Custom CleanUp!"
Put a check next to the following (Make sure nothing else is checked!):

    * Empty Recycle Bins
    * Delete Cookies
    * Delete Prefetch files
    * Cleanup! All Users

Click OK
Press the CleanUp! button to start the program.
When it's done>>Click Close
DECLINE to Log off or Restart the computer

Open the SmitRem folder located on the desktop

Double-click on the RunThis.bat file, as shown by the arrow in the image above, to start the tool.
The tool will create a log named smitfiles.txt in the root of your drive, eg; Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed.
Remain in safe mode after the fix is complete

==Open Ewido Anti-Malware
Click on the Scanner button on the left menu
Select Complete System Scan
*If Ewido finds something it will prompt you with "Infected Object found"
Ensure the following are Selected
  *1. Perform Action = Remove
*2. Create Encrypted Backup in Quarantine (Recommended)
*3. Perform action with all infections
    Then click OK
When Ewido has finished it's scan click the "Save Report" button
Save the report to desktop
Exit Ewido
NOTE: When Ewido is running, don't open any other Windows

Do a "System scan only" with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O2 - BHO: Nothing - {8d83b16e-0de1-452b-ac52-96ec0b34aa4b} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\hpD522.tmp
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [yaemu.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\yaemu.exe
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{7A208E88-EB40-473F-97DC-09D997C50E00}: NameServer = 85.255.115.2,85.255.112.6
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{CECA9B75-B152-4DD9-8D6E-3A5A076DA825}: NameServer = 85.255.115.2,85.255.112.6
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{F6B07125-3C38-4543-9391-047A54CBB8C3}: NameServer = 85.255.115.2,85.255.112.6
O20 - Winlogon Notify: msupdate - msupdate32.dll (file missing)

After you have ticked the above entry, close All other open windows
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Reboot back to Normal mode
Download roguescanfix.exe, and save it to your desktop.
Double click roguescanfix.exe to install it.
Open the roguescanfix folder, and doubleclick run.bat.
Your desktop and icons will disappear and then reappear again, this is normal.
Wait till the message "Completed script execution" appears, then click OK.
Click "Exit" to close BFU.
Click "OK" to start the SpywareQuake/Spyfalcon uninstaller, after that click "uninstall".

Reboot the computer one more time

Next go to Control Panel click Display > Desktop > Customize Desktop > Web > Uncheck "Security Info" if present.
Log off and back on again if it was present

Post back the following
1. Post a fresh hijackthis log
2. Post the whole report from Ewido's
3. Post the log created from Smitrem>>C:\Smitfiles.txt
4. Post report.txt from FixWareout please

NOTE: If you have troubles with your Internet connection afterwards
Please go to Start -> Control Panel, and choose Network Connections.  Then right click on your default connection, usually Local Area Connection or Dial-up Connection if you are using Dial-up, and left click on properties.  Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item and select the radio button that says Obtain DNS servers automatically.  Click OK twice, and restart your computer.

Hey...

I just gave your instructions a go and I got up to the bit where you have to run a "System Only Scan" with Hijackthis, after you do the scans in Ewido.

You told me to put a check next to these ones in Hijackthis but none of them were there after I did the scan...

Let's try this again
to ensure you are clean

Do a "System scan only" with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O2 - BHO: Nothing - {edbf1bc8-39ab-48eb-a0a9-c75078eb7c8e} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\hp8DE8.tmp (file missing)

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [order_Shell] C:\Documents and Settings\DJ Impact\order_hlta.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [drwtsn64] C:\WINDOWS\system32\drwtsn64.exe
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{7A208E88-EB40-473F-97DC-09D997C50E00}: NameServer = 85.255.115.2,85.255.112.6
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{CECA9B75-B152-4DD9-8D6E-3A5A076DA825}: NameServer = 85.255.115.2,85.255.112.6
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{F6B07125-3C38-4543-9391-047A54CBB8C3}: NameServer = 85.255.115.2,85.255.112.6
O20 - Winlogon Notify: msupdate - msupdate32.dll (file missing)

After you have ticked the above entry, close All other open windows
Including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Reboot your computer

Back in Windows
Can I see a couple logs please

Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri)
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
http://www.beyondlogic.org/consulting/proc...processutil.htm

Also,
Download and save too desktop
 F-Secure Blacklight(blbeta.exe)

    Double click to run blbeta.exe
    * Accept the user agreement.
    * Click Scan.
    * After the scan finishes, click on Next, then Exit.
Do not rename any files if found by blacklight, I need to see the log

BlackLight will create a log in your C:\ drive with the name "fsbl-xxxxxxx.log". Please post that log also.

Looks good, how's everything running on your end?
Just some simple final cleanup and we should be done here
Let me know how it's running first please

Final Cleanup
We should flush all your restore points to ensure you don't restore any nasties that may be sitting idle
Go to START>>RUN>>In the open field
    Type in
msconfig
Click OK
Click the "Launch System Restore" button
On the Left hand side click on "System Restore Settings"
Put a Check in "Turn off System Restore"
Apply it and OK out of there>>Reboot your computer
Back in Windows, Go back and take the check out of "Turn off system restore"
This will reenable the System Restore feature and creates a new restore point
Protect yourself against Future Attacks
*Install  SpywareBlaster 3.5.1 by JavaCool
    *Will block bad ActiveX Controls
*Block Malevolent cookies in Internet Explorer and Firefox
*Restrict actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer
After installation, Check for updates and then click the "Enable all protection"
"Check for updates every couple of weeks"
after every update just simply click the "enable protection on all unprotected items"

*Make sure your Anti-Virus software is always kept up to date and actively running in the background

*Make sure your Firewall is enabled and running
A Firewall is also very important
This provides a line of defense against someone who might try to access your computer without your permission

*Keep up to date on Windows updates (High Priorities)
This is the most important step in keeping your system secure
If you have Microsoft Office installed
Make sure you keep up on security updates
You will find a link at Windows Updates named "Office Family"

+ I would opt to hold onto Ewido and CleanUp!
Ewido will become a Limited free version in a couple weeks, but it's still a great scanner to update and run on a monthly basis

Also, a couple tools I wouldn't be without
Do you have the latest versions of Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.06 or Spybot 1.4
If not, I can link you to them
Please let me know

Can you do the following for me please
Open Notepad (START>>>RUN>>>type in notepad)
Hit OK
Copy the contents of the CODE box to notepad, not including the word "code"
Paste it to the empty Notepad file
In Notepad click FILE>>SAVE AS
Change the Save as Type to All Files.
Name the file as export.bat

Save this file on the desktop

Code: [Select]
regedit /e Export.txt "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess"

Double click on export.bat, a text file should open
Copy and paste the whole contents back here please
If it's blank, please let me know
