I have a Gateway 800mhz running Windows ME with a SB LIve Value (Series WBM Version 007) and I would like to play my acoustic guitar through it. I have purchased a software package called Cakewalk Music Creator, and plugged my 1/4\" to 1/8\" adapetr, with guitar cord patch, into the various inputs on the back of the computer. I do not get a pop or anything when I put the patch in and out of the input. Do I need to reconfigure anything.....Im stumped....any suggestions?
