« on: January 05, 2002, 05:46:34 PM »
Can someone help me i downloaded micorsoft datacenter 2000 server and the person i got it from make the cd non-bootable but there is a bootdisk folder which has 4 img files that i have take 4 blank floppy\'s and put 1 img file on each. Is there anyway to make datacenter 2000 server bootable like the retail version. Also how can i intergrate the serial # into the os so i don\'t have to type it in if possible. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me. The person i got it off of won\'t tell me how to make it bootable.

You could look around this site, my site or many others.  Take your pick.  As to making it boot just like a retail version... not without the original dat file.  Good news though, so far all W2K systems use the same dat files so you may get away with it.  Auto-insert the serial by checking the how-to section at the main page here.  Click the logo on top of this page.
