Well known threads at that. Like the Scammers List and How to Prevent Being Scammed. Set away from this forum he is also on the MM list and even a Mod over at Website removed due to spamming! So we ask ourselves... How could a person get scammed from somebody with a Reputation such as his? Well it's quite simple actually. You MM 2GP, that's right... 2GP on Runescape and the Elite-Anti-Scammers will accept you as one of there own! But to actually be put on there list of best known MM'ers takes skill. You just ask! And you will get in.

Now to get on with the proof! I will show you in a minute why I no longer trade on these forums with people I don't truly know. And why you shouldn't as well, unless you are looking forward to losing your valued in-game items or even real life hard earned cash! I am not writing this thread to sorrow you guys with the person that scammed me. I am writing this thread to help others from the one mistake I made... Trusting someone I thought was trustworthy.

I was new to the forum. I had posted a thread on the For Sale section on my Green Party Hat that I wanted to sell. I got alot of good responses from people that had wanted to buy. Later the next day I logged on MSN to talk to people who had wanted to buy that second. The one person I had trusted was a guy named [color=\"#CC33CC\"]Sweet Ivory[/color]. Yahoo name bettadayz21806. He had told me that he would like to buy right now for 750$ USD. I told him that was the highest yet and would accept his offer. He then told me that he would like to use an MM named [color=\"#CC0000\"]Trusted Mills[/color]. MSN name bwl2300.  Sweet Ivory sent me a link showing me proof that Trusted Mills was a well known MM around these forums. I told him that sounded great and he rushed me to trade him right that minute. He invited Trusted Mills to join the MSN conversation. We all greeted and I asked if Trusted Mills was a well known MM. They both said yes, and I asked for proof that this Trusted Mills was actually the real one off the forum. I sent the Trusted Mills on the forum a PM and told him on MSN to send me a PM back saying " hey hey ". That was successful. So I had proof that this was the REAL Trusted Mills.

I thought everything was going fine. I had a well known MM and a cool buyer. Trusted Mills told me to meet in World 18 by the big fountain in the middle of Varrock. He was then saying in MSN how he was having difficulties logging into Runescape. I'm pretty sure he was thinking about pulling the lag trick then after we traded he would log off and take my Phat. He didn't. He logged on with a character named [color=\"#336666\"]Llzman[/color]. He was Lvl 106. He told me on MSN that he would trade me 100 Lobsters to make sure it was really him I was trading. We traded. My Green Party Hat was then in his hands. There wasn't a damn thing I could about it at this point. I did not feel like I was getting scammed at all until... Sweet Ivory tells us that he has to wait for his Mom to get home so she can send me the payment through PayPal. This is where it got suspicious. Sweet Ivory logged off MSN. I then asked Trusted Mills what happened to him and he told me the story about him waiting for his mom to get home. I waited. And waited. Then Trusted Mills logs off MSN. I was left there alone, without a damn penny or Phat in my pockets. I waited and played some other game until they would log back in. About an hour later Sweet Ivory logs in. I asked him what is going on with this trade. And he tells me he is waiting for Trusted Mills to log back in around 20 minutes so we can finish the trade. How in the hell does he know Trusted Mills is logging back on in 20 minutes? This is the point where I find that they are both in this together. They are most likely bum buddies. 20 Minutes goes by... 40 minutes... I ask Sweet Ivory what is really going on. He doesn't respond. I then posted a message for Trusted Mills right under his post on one of his threads. One that I am sure he checks often. In my post I explain that if he doesn't respond to me, send me the money, or trade me back my Phat I would explain this situation on the forums. I waited a couple more hours. I knew then that I have been officially scammed.

This morning I went onto the forums to see if he had posted a reply. I found nothing. I didn't recieve an email and there was still nothing in my PayPal account. After work I get home and log onto MSN. There those sorry bastards were. I ask Trusted Mills... Well, why don't you read for yourself! But before you do, read this. Right after I had asked Trusted Mills where he had been and what had happened to my Phat. I get an MSN message from a guy named Kentas. He asked if I was selling my Phat still. I told him I think a player named Trusted Mills scammed my Phat. Then he tells me Trusted Mills had previously scammed him for a Red Party Hat. This is where is get HILLARIOUS! Kentas asks me to invite Trusted Mills to our conversation. I thought it was a great idea. So I invited him! This is where you have to read for yourself! I will first post the transcripts that I had taken from each MSN message. Then the pictures!
