WinME to Win2k?
« on: June 16, 2006, 01:29:17 AM »
Hi guys this is my first post http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />

No that WinME support is being discontinued I really need to do something about my laptop which runs on ME. I have Win2k CDs and that would really be the easiest "upgrade" but...everyone goes crazy when I say I want to do this!
Can it be done...without deinstalling ME or with installing ME or only by dual booting (which I don't really want to do)??
Has anyone out there ever successfully done this????
All replies gratefully received!

There is a link which shows you step by step how to dual boot with WIN98/ME to Win 2000 and visa-versa.  http://www.montanapk.com/support/training/..._boot_setup.htm  Good luck!
