When browsing in IE5.01 a window will randomly pop open with title \"about:blank\". nothing will appear in page and it freezes IE and get illegal operation code.Does anyone know what this might be related too and how to fix or delete about:blank.

Be more specific .
Which OS , info about the Illegal operation content .
I think you should update your IE to IE6.0.
