I\'ve built two AMD machines using Giga-byte mobo\'s and both now at two years old, run non stop(servers for buisness lan)  Never a days problem with the hardware.  Being two years old the version of board I have only supports up to 1.4 but you can\'t go wrong with Giga-byte, prices are comparable but the dependability is unrivaled.  Being that AMD\'s like to get HOT I would definately recommend buying the new \'round\' IDE and FDD cables, these open up lots of room for airflow, and generally drop the temp about 10 degrees FH.

DFI or ASUS motherboards are also good.

I suggest Asus Mobo, ATI video, & AMD processor
