I'm sorry for bugging you all again  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />  but I think there's something wrong with my computer [again  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':o\' />]. It's laggy and there's this spyware [and more] named Avenue A that I can't get rid of. I tried spybot, ewido, and adware and they went away but when I restarted my computer and scanned it again, they're still there http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />

My guess is that avenueA is tracking cookies

Do you have SpywareBlaster 3.5.1?

Can you do the following
Make sure that you are running Spybot 1.4, ensure it is updated
Click on the Immunize button>>Ok the prompt>>Immunize again at the top green cross

==Download and install Windows CleanUp! 4.5.2
If you have an older version of CleanUp!, uninstall it before installing the newest version

CleanUp! attempts to delete files from various temporary directories (including download directories/caches),
as well as emptying the Recycle Bins.
If you make a habit of saving files that you wish to keep in any of these places,  they will be deleted when CleanUp! is run.
Please move them too a different location before we run this tool if the above is true
Note: It is generally considered poor practice to use temporary folders or the Recycle Bin to store files you intend to keep.

==Open Cleanup! by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (or from the Start > All Programs menu).
Set the program up as follows:
Click "Options..."
Move the arrow down to "Custom CleanUp!"
Put a check next to the following (Make sure nothing else is checked!):

    * Empty Recycle Bins
    * Delete Cookies
    * Delete Prefetch files
    * Cleanup! All Users

Click OK
Press the CleanUp! button to start the program.
When it's done>>Click Close
DECLINE to Log off or Restart the computer

Open Hijackthis>>Open Misc tools section>>Open "Delete File on Reboot"
In the FILE NAME field
Copy>Paste the entry below in bold to the full path of the file

C:\WINDOWS\system32\jit.exe

Then click the OPEN button
Hijackthis should prompt that the file will be deleted on reboot
Click NO to restart the computer now

Click BACK under 'other stuff' in Hijackthis
Do a SCAN
Put a tick next to this entry

Close ALL open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and then click "Fix Checked"
Ok the prompt

Reboot your computer

Ensure to open SpywareBlaster and check for updates then enable all protection on unprotected items afterwards
