Need help my computer is very slow

Hi, my computer is very slow laitly http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />  I did y=system defragment,disc clean up,antiviruses and anti spyware programs dont find any viruses .... could someone help me fix this? =/

oh and one mroe question : Why i cant download chkdsl utility when i try to download it it stops at 50 % or 70% .... could someone give a link that download it fully?

Have you tried going into safe mode and running Anti-Spyware, and anti-virus programs? Download Ewido anti-spyware 4.0, and stinger exe. Go into safe mode, run those two. After that run reboot your computer back into normal mode, and run an HJT log, and post it here. Guestolo will be able to help you on the HJT log.

From my signature below, REdownload and save too a permanent folder of it's own onto your harddrive
Hijackthis 1.99.1
ONLY run hijackthis from this new location
Open Hijackthis.exe

Do a "System scan only" with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {53707962-6F74-2D53-2644-206D7942484F} - (no file)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: winndy32 - winndy32.dll (file missing)


After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows
Including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Reboot the computer
Come back here and post a fresh hijackthis log

NOTE: Do not let Spysweeper interfere with any fixes we are doing with Hijackthis
Allow any changes

oh and one more thing that i forgot to mention : sometimes it does automatickly something like alt+tab when im in a game but when im arent and when it does that when i click on desktop it beaps (makes saund pyp) why is that?

Do you have anything disabled on startup with msconfig?

maybe the resident shield got something do with it? sometimes it shows a mesage ,,unable to conect'' or something like that (dont remember exacly) but when it shows that mesage im not doin anythin even the internet is offline then... maybe its becous of that spysweeper? oh and p.s. spysveeper version 5.0

If you think problems may be related to your video
Try the following
Go to Nvidia's site
http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

Select your driver>>Graphics driver
Select your type>>Geoforce and TNT2
Select OS>>Either most normal>Windows XP/2000 or XP pro x64

Save the installer to your desktop but don't install it yet
Take note of Driver Installation Hints
Access your add/remove programs and remove
"NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers" or "NVIDIA Display Drivers" and select remove.
Reboot the computer

Ignore any installation of hardware on bootup
Double click and follow the prompts to install the new driver
Reboot computer again
