I recently started having problems with my win2k system. I messed with CMOS but understand I am new to this. Now when I play music off a cd or try to play games it seems like the system is having a hard time keeping up or something. Not quite sure how to describe it. It plays but messed up. Talks then slurs, talks then slurs, if you get what I mean. I would like to know if there is anything I can check that could have caused this problem. Thanks, Newbie.

If you changed the video cache in your cmos, this could slow it down considerably. Try going in and enabling anything to do with video ram one at a time and see which one works.

Good luck

Look into the advanced bios setup feartures :
CPU level 1 cache and CPU level 2 cache must be enabled .
