i\'m trying to share my files on a network using windows xp. i used to do this all the time with win2000, but xp has changed things. i tried disabling simple file sharing and it will not work, ever. it works sometimes if i create a specific username and password. i can\'t give people anonymous, read-only access to my shares. i\'ve messed with the groups and such, but nothing works. it should be like win2000 file sharing, right?
if anyone else has this problem or knows any way to get around it, let me know.
