Creating a NT4 CD with SP6 already integrated?

Hi there,

Is it possible to create a bootable NT4 CD which has SP6a
already integrated, so that i don\'t have to setup it after install and network settings are configured? This would help alot.

This has been discussed many times here, and the answer is you cannot integrate SP61 into NT4; this is because MS never created Nt4 to be able to have slipstreaming. If you just copy the files over into the I386 folder you will have errors as nt4 Service packs were notorious for adding features and changing registry values, and these will not change unless you do a popper installation of the service pack.

Sorry - i haven\'t tried this never, but i thought also, that it doesn\'t work, bc the SP integrate Feature was introduced
with Win2k, you\'re right.

Extra note:
You can extract a few of the boot files to update the installer in a way.  I have found that installing with the SP6 drivers makes the install go a lot better.  Just an observation not really tested.  I may be using hardware that is just more stable with NT4 suddenly.
